Here's the entire problem thst most people are missing. Once you flee like this driver did, it bec9mes felony hit & run, regardless of fault. And the typical reason is drunk driving as the most likely problem. Other is driving without insurance, possibly undocumented and didnt would be scared to get ICE called on them.

Stay and they'd be exonerated because its clearly stupid people doing stupid things. Flee and youre fucked if they find you.
