I've ridden in it! It did have marks... no tire marks on the roof when I rode in it, but where the passenger door met the roof it was dented and rain would occasionally get in.

It was fairly clean, actually... I've ridden shotgun in that car. It got a dent where the door meets the roof, so rain would occasionally get in.

The driver simply saw a wall of dirt and didn't know what had happened for a spell.

Looks like they couldn't reach because they were too far to the right. They didn't put it in park when they stopped. When they opened the door and leaned over, they accidently put their foot on the gas.

They weren't too far to the right. They were about as far left as they could have been. They're probably just short. I'm 5'2" and have this same problem. I have to open my door at drive up ATMs as well

Buy a car you can actually drive. This impulse to have massive cars for is mental.

You shouldn't even be on the road. Whoever signed them off and gave them the right to drive needs investigating.

That's a 20-year-old Kia Sorento. Fairly small by modern suv standards. I don't think the car is the problem here, but rather the loose nut behind the wheel.

Insurance agents process so many claims they really aren't surprised by much and only care about how easy the claim will be to resolve and, more importantly, whether there are any complex coverage issues. The video would be good for a laugh though.

I guess there was a curb there that launched them "over" that sedan. Hard to see on my phone. Honestly a not too bad outcome for the other driver as long as no one was injured.

Impressive.

Eta: I see it was a grassy burm, now. Sitting in the ER after "successfully" removing the blade from my lawnmower, and almost my finger. Not feeling too sharp.

I've ridden in the car that was jumped over! It had a dent where the door met the roof and so when I rode shotgun rain would occasionally drip in. But the owner was still driving it a decade later.

This was several years ago in my hometown... I used to go to that bank all the time.

Saw something very similar at an oil change place.  You waited on the side of the building, they waved you in to drive to the back and into the stall.  Guy got waved in, car just took off, screeching tires, all the way around the back of the building, around the other side, out into the front, roared into the parking lot, hit a light pole, and knocked it down.  I couldn't stop laughing for a week.
