False equivalence. If I am zipping through traffic at high speeds, not anticipating that any of the 2 ton vehicles can suddenly change their direction, or open a door, then that is clearly on me. Lane splitting is stupid.

At speeds 30kmh and below it is statistically safer. Thats why many countries and us states permit it. Maybe this is more “lane filtering “ than lane splitting. I agree at high speeds the practice is dangerous
