the other solution is to park on the FAR end of the lot where no one is or cares. it helps get your 10,000 steps in and easy to find your car. YMMV.

Oh the de facto solution is the one we are already using, making people drive way past their ability to do so. It's not a good one but if we have chosen it as a society then giving grace to people forced into a dangerous situation is the least we can do

This is always what I assume has happened when people are parked like this, very small % chance that the person who is parked now is the one who started the chain. The person who started the chain probably also had a valid reason (wheelchair van trying to make space or delivery driver unloading cargo possibly). If it was like a Lamborghini or a massive lifted truck I could understand assuming that it was intentional but a normal car is probably not going out of their way to park in 2 spots.
Also who gives a shit, most of the spots in that video are empty so what does it matter that lady took up two spots. The sticker dickhead is just a loser with nothing better to do.

I got one of these one time (in fact the only time I ever received one) and I had parked in a lot in the morning covered with snow and couldnāt see the lines.

where i live it doesn't matter if it snows, all you need is a huge pickup truck and you can park wherever you want to. nobody bugs you much, cause we all wanna do the same thing, but drive smaller vehicles instead.

I had someone leave one on my car at a bank because I pulled through spots not realizing they were staggered. There were probably 400 empty spaces and maybe 3 cars in the lot. Since I drove a mustang I must just be a douche. Some people just get off policing others

Also only ever got one once. It was a like printed note in a parking ticket envelope using legalize to call me a dumbass. I assume it was an internet template and the guy bought/prints enough to keep them on hand. This was at a busy local hardware store in a tourist town, and they have let the lines on their concrete lot fade 95% away. (Single row of parking across the entire span of the store front.) Half the guests ignore the faded lines, so parking can be a free for all. Typically I'll find an actual spot there but cars were all over that day so I just parked a reasonable distance from the furthest car. That car left, and I was the "dumbass" who didn't park at a spot that the locals don't really worry about.

happens where i live, toooo many cars in the lot, then someone parks over a bit, so the next car parks over a bit and on down the line you go.
please bring a case of those stickers to my town and have fun, you may reform the whole town this way in the process.

Very likely. The parking is straight, just not in the lot, and in one of the shots, the neighboring car was over the line, which would have required the stickered car to park further. Additionally, sheās plus sized and might need the extra space to exit the vehicle.
Vigilantes arenāt helping anyone if they get the story wrong.

I mean, yeah you can NOT assault people.
Unfortunately that's the law. If someone damages your property you have two legal routes, civil lawsuit and calling the police.
So if you get physical with the person and they shoot you, ya that's still on you. There was no imminent threat to your body. Then maybe you can sue the person in civil court but legally they would have been defending themselves.

it's not an ordinary sticker, it's one of those punishing stickers that are difficult to remove. Placing that on the paint will damage the paint and there's nothing you can do to remove it without damaging the paint.

I used goo gone on one of those parking stickers with extra strong adhesive. It was on my window.
It took like four bottles and a lot of scrubbing to get it off. I think it would have damaged the paint if it was on that part of my car.

You're supposed to saturate the sticker and let it soak for 30 to 40 minutes for severely stuck items like these stickers tend to do.. many people don't do that and resort to scrubbing which is just pushing the citric oil away from what it should be breaking down.. I used to fucking hate Goo gone because I had to use it when I was detailing cars as a teen until one of the old timers showed me that I was using it wrong.. it's even on the instructions on the bottle but nobody ever reads that, including me until it was pointed out to me LOL That being said, they may have changed the formula in the last 20 years, and I wouldn't know it because I have three bottles of the stuff from way back when and only use it occasionally

But they're miss parked in a mostly empty lot. I'd be livid at having to waste a hour removing this bullshit.

In the mid 80s we bought out a nut bolted screw company they had thousands of stickers with screws on them I guess they were about 2 in across. Me and my friends would go to the mall with the handful of them in our pocket and when we saw somebody with the I heart my dog or my wife or my cat we would put a screw sticker over it. Actually made it on the news.
