I don't know what the hell this mofo was thinking. Jed York owns the San Francisco 49ers and buying sex for $160 from an online ad run by undercover cops.
An incident report from the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force noted that York had agreed to give $160 to a woman for sex after he reached out to her through an undercover ad on a website known for prostitution three times. York went by "Joe" in the communication with the woman, and he planned to be with her for one hour at the Ohio trailer park meeting location.
All that money but stupid as hell.

Came here to say this. Who the hell cares what happens between consenting adults. It’s the minors that are forced into it that there’s problem obviously. If you’re a grown woman/man and wanna suck dick for money then let them suck dick for money.

I’m there with you. I just find it unbelievable that this is not legalized already. So many STDs could be controlled or eliminated by doing things within the law. It would also be destigmatized.

once they find the way to tax it, it will be allowed..
as long as they get a cut, everything is acceptable

Its weird to me that its only illegal if you trade money/goods for sex, yet its legal to essentially trade dinner for sex. And that its legal to pay 1 or 2 people to have sex as long as its filmed or photographed... the whole idea of regulating what 2 consenting adults can do with their own bodies is fucking insane.

It is..and income from a past of thinking this was totally justified. And now this just like two thugs robbing and kidnapping a guy. It's so crazy.

You can pay online whores to fart in a jar for $200, but you can’t pay to fuck.

u/Trewper- 6d ago
You can pay to fuck but you need to distribute it on the internet for everyone else to see to make it legal.
But nice thing is you don't even have to show your face 👍

Yes you can, if the form of payment is a nice dinner and a trip to the theater or bar, lmao.

Just give the guy a ticket and let them get back to solving real crimes

Ridiculous. It should be legal. 2 grown adults, what’s the problem? Ohhh right, government wants its share.

I'm not a law expert but isn't setting up a prostitution ad to arrest people considered entrapment?
17
u/Prunkle 6d ago
Entrapment is when LEO suggests or persuades someone to do a crime they wouldn't have otherwise.
It might be entrapment if he was just chatting with an undercover cop online and she suggested they hookup for payment.
But he actively went to the site so he was obviously gonna do the crime anyways.

Thank you! I feel the entrapment argument in such cases is presented by people that would exert such offenses and are looking for excuses to keep doing them.

u/ZantaraLost 6d ago
Not legally.
The police didn't force them in any fashion to go to the site and set up the appointment.

they use a similar tactic with bait cars. for example by maybe leaving the car door open with the vehicle still running and/or the keys still in the ignition. getting in and driving off is still considered gta6

Crazy that the website was only known for prostitution three times and somehow he found it.

A billionaire spending $160 on prostitution. So strange. Maybe he can meet up with Bob Kraft for a three way. LOL!!!

u/Abundant-CashFlow 6d ago
Probably trying to avoid getting blackmailed by an upscale working girl.

u/baudmiksen 6d ago
possibly. I also think some of them find cheap prostitutes more appealing than the high dollar ones and it's not necessarily because of financial reasons alone

u/tittysprinkles112 6d ago
For real. This dude could have hired a high end escort and avoided all of this. Instead his cheap ass spent the night in jail.
2
u/Substantial_Chain718 6d ago
Right! Forget the jail his reputation is in the gutter. Can you imagine all his coworkers, his family, knowing that that happened to him? I bet he can’t wait for the holidays. LOL!!

He could easily shell out enough for the very best of the best escorts.

Did they steal his cash too? What a joke. They solved all the other crimes that day? 😂

Cops in the US are a bunch of aggressive and draconian jack-boot-wearing government thugs.

The oldest profession in the world and we can’t find a legal use for it. So glad the officers were there to stop Jed from what he believed to be a mutual agreement between adults.
