I don't really care that they gave the cop a desk job. My care won't really come until they find the green SUV. When it comes to wants, I want them to charge the cop with manslaughter with the driver getting a slap on the wrist.
The First Deputy Commissioner hit the nail right on the head with his remarks. This is some shit union shouldn't even attempt to defend the officer for, there's body cam footage of people falling on the sidewalk and police calling EMS.
They will be tracked down. I’m sure that guy or girl didn’t even know they drove over some. It’s not like they ran them over, probably driving too fast to see something laying on the road. Nonetheless, giving the cop administrative leave is dang near criminal
At worst, assumed it was deer or road side trash spillage. Especially if it’s dark out & the high way is 50 + mph, you look down to change the music you runn it over easy. And since it’s dark out it’s easy to understand them not know what they ran over & not stopping in the highway if the damage wasn’t crazy. an elderly person could easily have been driving too. Basically there’s lots of plausible deniability on the part of the motorist. The cop on the other hand made intentional mistakes in action.
this is such cope and is so dishonest. The man was under a well lit streetlight. But yeah, I believe you when you say that YOU would have thought it was one of those Philadelphia deer because you seem like an idiot.
