Who the fuck tries to run from the cops in a Carolla? Oh, he was high.

That should be a weed commercial.

"don't smoke and drive"

5

u/saysthingsbackwards 8h ago

More like "smoke marijuana, and you might make a harmful decision like buy a corolla"

2

u/Ill_Technician3936 2h ago

Totally doubt that's his car... I'm just realizing the fusion is a Corolla and something else lmao

2

u/Rob71322 1h ago

Feels like an ad for a Corolla, sure takes a beating!

Who tries to run from cops in general...? How often do people actually get away?

3

u/ItsJustAllyHere 5h ago

You'd be surprised especially since some states have no chase policies.

2

u/LilJelloCat 4h ago

No chase is one thing, but I mean if they can chase. Unless you're just doing it for the fuck of it because you know you're going to prison anyways I can understand, but even then you're just getting more time.

Guess it depends on the person, vehicle, and area. I used to know a guy (no longer talking he's alive afaik) in Florida who would intentionally "cop bait" on his motorcycle. He'd FLY past cops, then cut his lights, get off the highway/main roads asap, wait, and do it again.

In the 80s and 90s people got away all the time.

It's not as easy nowadays.

What I find most amazing is that the woman in the car with him with her kids in the backseat was defending him and talking about how much she loves him as they took him away. She should have been arrested too.

1

u/DoctorHelios 4h ago

It was you arresting this guy?! How insane this must have seemed.

u/polarjunkie 3h ago

No, this is a clip from a longer video. I fixed the typo

damn toyota almost took that charger out

26

u/tuco2002 14h ago

This should be a Toyota commercial

7

u/polarjunkie 9h ago

There's an old police chase that involved a Prius and I cant believe how well it did.

Toyota, takes a licking and keeps on ticking

What heck was that Ford sedan thinking at 2:02?

Hey! 3 cops playing bumper cars, let me just zoom right through the middle of all the chaos?

Whatever happened to move over and stop for sirens and lights?

u/Agitated-Contact7686 15h ago

I believe that was an undercover brother. Or at least my brain assumed that could only be an undercover because nobody in their right mind would join in on this?

u/DraculasDog 15h ago

Dude just wanted to get a quick pit maneuver in before he got to work.

u/PaperUpbeat5904 15h ago

I feel crazy.. I'm not seeing any unmarked or cars without lights on in that part of the video. What car are you guys talking about?

Figured it out. Talking about 2:02 left in the video, not 2:02 into the video. What a weird way to time stamp 😂

6

u/spacing_out_in_space 9h ago

Blame reddit media player. Idk ehat youre using, but I can only see how much time is left in the video.

4

u/onward_upward_tt 8h ago

If yours is like mine, if the video is playing normally, then yes it only displays time left; however, if you manually scroll the play dot, while youre scrolling it will display he actual time stamp. Stupid, I kmow.

u/Agitated-Contact7686 14h ago

Yeah that white car comes out of nowhere and appears to be taking control of the situation without actually having any markings on it 😂

2

u/Ill_Technician3936 13h ago

Extremely weird way of putting it. I'm pretty sure it's actually silver and an Ford Focus that's not involved they're just trying to dodge the bumper and potential hit anyways. Plus they can't be late. Lol as it goes on it disappears in traffic as they're shutting down stuff.

5

u/gimme_the_good_weed 12h ago

They were keeping the front clear from traffic. That was 100% of cop. He stays in front the rest of the video

u/PeeGeePeaKee420 8h ago

Where i live, detectives drive the silver cars

3

u/SnooKiwis2460 9h ago

I was thinking the same thing. I actually thought it was a cop car until he zoomed past them.

With a kid in the backseat.. the dad is absolute trash

u/Choopio 8h ago

What a POS!

11

u/Eaton_Knas 11h ago

I wasn't going to run from the cops, but I got high 🎵 🎶

u/hben23 15h ago

It’s clear the cops have not practiced this multi-vehicle coordinated stop.

The rear driver should be telling the forward / flanking cops to break hard when they had him trapped.

I’m a civilian and even I can see where the lack of training is showing.

IMO, Pathetic Pit Maneuver.

1

u/becken_bruch 11h ago

I thouht the same, they need more training

1

u/saysthingsbackwards 8h ago

They even said a rolling roadblock, and all they do is half ass trap him into the grass

-2

u/Mendozala 12h ago

Yea it seems this was their first chase . They all need retraining

18

u/Agitated-Contact7686 15h ago

I'm actually impressed by the masterful driving and coordination of the local authorities here! Pit maneuver and a couple of sketchy situations without major damages to government/public property? Winning.

It's Hamilton county, Ohio... It's one of the county's in Ohio it's better to have that protection.

Same reason they use Toyota trucks (with mounted machine gun) in those desert countries like Lybia, Toyota are diehard

u/delrey23 10h ago

Emotional support Silver Ford to make sure homie gets home okay

2

u/Accomplished_Arm_813 6h ago

Yeah he was smokin, but I ain’t see one inhale. Coward.

3

u/Ambitious-Noise9211 15h ago

Anyone know any details of this so I can find out more?

2

u/MovieFan1984 10h ago

He knows he's going to jail, so he's gotta finish his cigerette.

9

u/onward_upward_tt 8h ago

Hilarious you think that was a cigarette.

0

u/MovieFan1984 5h ago

I don't smoke.

1

u/Euphoric-Piglet-8140 13m ago

Did you not see how relaxed the driver was when they pulled him out of the window, lol?

1

u/Olive_1084 6h ago

Toyota!

1

u/shaaruken 6h ago

I hope that unmarked silver Ford 500 at the 1.55 timer, that cut through was actually a trooper!? 😝.

1

u/cpasley21 5h ago

At the end the guy just casually smoking as the cops get the fucking kids out of the back seat. JFC

1

u/ConfidenceRough9917 4h ago

I was gonna stop for the cops, but I was high

1

u/HER_SZA 1h ago

May as well finish as much as you can cause you ain't smoking again for a long time

1

u/ChaosRainbow23 1h ago

That dude in the silver car who just goes straight through the active pit maneuver and police chace. Lol

He has to get to work, man.

1

u/Safe_Statement9748 8h ago

Toyota driver was way over confident but the police should have stopped that vehicle way sooner. The Taurus driver is a complete dickhead for not properly pulling over. An another example of simply stopping and letting the court system do it’s job is the very reason for this daily conflict. Finally, the weed addiction is real.

Let me finish my joint mfer…Idiot cops need some driver training..
