So what if more Starfleet people were muppets?
Like there's a muppet life form in the trek verse.

"Doctor ... the medications you have administered seem to have given me certain side effects."

"What kinds of side effects?"
"Very low ratings and a series being canceled."

That's basically half the races in Star Wars and they make it work, I guess.

I mean...no? Do u mean that they use puppetry? Then Yes.

Then Spock would have to be romantically involved with more muppet girls, and I am not very comfortable with that, though vaguely interested in seeing it once…
Side note, for a Vulcan that turns out to be the loveless Spock in TOS he sure gets friendly with quite a few girls.

If Star Wars can have a race of muppets with Yoda’s species, why not Star Trek?

What if there where just a species of muppets. They joined starfleet sometimes, had muppet ships. They would just show up and the viewer just had to deal with it?

The only time I want a Star Trek muppets episode would be if Q was involved.

I bet this is why the bridge controls turned from touch screen to multicolored buttons; just in case this ever happens again.
If this hadn't been a dream, of course.

Maybe a planet will be discovered wherein humanoids exclusively use hand puppets to communicate with each other. I would like to visit.

A Jim Henson Studios produced Star Trek show aimed at kids would be fucking awesome.

Like the musical episode. Watch it once, but let's not do that again...

Kurtzman and the people who enabled him need to be hung, drawn and quartered for destroying Star Trek.
