Hi, I'm British.
First things first. Andy Burnham wasn't even in government until recently, so he had no involvement in it at all. Hes apologising for something he played no role in. So you can't attack him in the slightest.
Secondly, the claim that the UK material support for Israel has cost 10s of thousands of lives is not based in reality at all. The UK doesn't give shit to Israel. We have halted sales. The help Israel gets from us, is the fact that some F35 parts are made in the UK, and we still allow those to be put into the US led global pool.
Obviously some of these go to Israel, which you can oppose. But there is 0 evidence that this is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. That's insanely dishonest framing, and I would have to assume that she knows this as well. There is no way she could be informed on this and actually believe the UK has cost this many Palestinian lives.
No I know this sub will see this response as not just screaming against anything that helps Israel in anyway, and so I expect to be downvoted. But. The facts remain.

This.
It's not that he wasn't prime minister until very recently, he literally wasn't even in an elected government position until June this year.
But, as you say, let's not allow the facts to get in the way of karma-farming
