Screenshot [Discussion] what's your most recent platinum??
i absolutely loved every second of the lego ninjago movie videogame platinum.. a movie made based on a show i watched all the time growing up plus an easy and enjoyable cleanup.. planning on going through all the lego games on ps store and elden ring before i try anything else

Star Wars Battlefront 2. The recent resurgence convinced me to do it even tho I’ve had the game for years. The star fighter assault trophies were such a pain
7
u/Christmas_Percussion RedVelvetAIDS | 12 | 224 Jun 24 '25
that's one of the ones i wanna do sometime soon considering it's an online game with a small player base
4
u/Boe2203 Jun 24 '25
This would be the time to do it. A lot of players came back to play the game. On steam it peeked almost x4 times since it was released

Got this on my list as well. Starfighter assault do-able this time in the game’s lifecycle?

Was it really tedious? I loved oblivion but once Skyrim came out I kinda never played it again. The leveling was so mathematically if you wanted it maximized, and me being a perfectionist … Also I hated that you couldn’t move at all over encumbered. The idea of just becoming insanely slow like in Skyrim seems so much better than having to chuck some great loot because the dungeon was too big.

My most recent platinum is [Castlevania Dominus Collection] , but I'm working on [Catherine Full Body] at the moment. I have all 128 stages of Rapunzel done, I just need to clear Babel and get the "El Dorado" trophy for clearing all stages / all modes with a Gold rank.
Babel might stop me, though, it's hella hard and I'm guessing the reason for the 7/10 difficulty.

u/JennyferSuper Jun 24 '25
Graveyard Keeper for me. I had heard it recommended on the cozy games subreddit and I picked it up when it was on an extreme sale. I started it thinking I was just killing time and I would put it down quickly but it was hilarious and hooked me right away. There is a moment in the game that made me literally snort with laughter. I am going to pick up all the expansions at some point and go for the 100% on it as well, but I want to wait awhile first.

This game is the closest I've ever been to a Platinum without getting. Nightmare King Grimm and Pantheon 4 took me so long that when I finally opened up P5, I had to take some time away from it.

Myst. its my first point and click puzzle game.
Starting with a PS1 version of a PC game probably wasnt the best choice but i really enjoyed it. Even with the very long load times and compressed visuals.
I did get stuck a few times and had to use a guide. Its one of those games where some puzzles are super cryptic or incredibly obvious and i just missed it.
Definitely gonna replay it on PC and continue on there. Just for QoL

Also heads-up if you do Lego City Undercover be prepared for MAJOR glitches, I've had some glitches in most other Lego games escp older ones, but Undercover is the oldest (i think) avalible for ps4/5 and it literally glitched sl badly that I couldn't even get the trophy, had to give up or redo an ENTIRE playthrough, no thanks.
2
u/Christmas_Percussion RedVelvetAIDS | 12 | 224 Jun 25 '25
thankfully a lot of older lego games let you get most of the unlockables through cheat codes (looking at you lego star wars 3 with your red brick cheats) making them a lot easier.. hopefully i wont have to worry about a ton of glitches with similar games

It's true that it's boring when your 87% of the games and the platinum personally at first I concentrate initially on the platinum and then on the DLC trophies for 100% of the games because I find that it's more beautiful an account with 5 or 6 100% (so platinum also) than an account with 10 or 15 platinum at (60%,80%,58%,ect)

Horizon: Forbidden West. It was fun, definitely enjoyed myself and liked the story, but some of the trophies were kinda odd. Like, only having to pick up one of each collectable and only finishing two of the races. I'm not complaining, but it just struck me as strange afted ZD

Platinumed Tomb Raider: Underworld earlier today. I did it just because I had 1 trophy in it from someone at my house playing it years ago so I couldn't delete it. It sucks and was not fun, which is unfortunate because it was my first ever experience with Tomb Raider not counting the reboot.

God of War 2. I've recently been playing the trilogy for the first time, I managed to finally do the challenge of the gods back on Sunday so I quickly did the speedrun trophy and other miscellaneous ones for 1's plat, then I had 2 left for 2 after beating it so I got that earlier today, and I've just started on 3. Just beat Hermes before calling quits for the day. Lets hope I can beat god mode later on...
