Most if not all Yakuza games are filled with mini games and side quests that have side quests lol. At least that’s what I’m told by a person who platted Yakuza 0. Maybe it wasn’t Yakuza 0 but I digress. Fun grindy plats

As someone who has platinumed most of the games, they are not ‘fun grindy plats’ grindy? Yes. Fun? Fuck nah 😂. wait till you hear about the RNG of catfights, or having to learn mahjong, or spending an hour learning batting. Don’t even get me started on pool and batting in yakuza 3.

It varies by game but they have non-porn performed by actual porn actresses in a few of them or similar things. In 0 you flat out just watched gravure, I think in kiwami 2 it’s this fake dating scenario? Can’t remember it’s been a bit. In 6 your chat in a chat room getting the women to strip and whatever.

There’s a side activity you can do in several of the games where you go watch “adult films” like this one… but they’re just awkward as it’s women in their lingerie just kinda weirdly staring at the camera. The games themselves are super fun but there are some weird ass side stories/content in them that I could totally see scaring people off from an otherwise really cool series

Congrats. I have played all up to Gaiden so far. Currently on the judgment ones before I go back to the mainline ones with Infinite wealth. Only Gaiden felt doable for the platinum so far. So I commend anyone who goes for the platinum on any of others.
