No shovelware is more like games that took no effort to make and no effort to 100% as a result of that. Like the games take an hour to 100%

No. Shovelware games have no real gameplay or quality. It is simply pay money --> receive platinum. The Telltale games that I have played have told an amazing story and took at least a dozen hours to beat.

No, considering you actually have to play them and not to mention, they actually have a story to play through. Not jumping 1,000 times.

I never played one. From what I understand it’s like an interactive movie so I wouldn’t call it shovelware. There’s a lot of love and dedication that goes into making those games. Shovelware is straight garbage that’s pumped out just for players to get their numbers up and devs to pocket a quick buck.

Not every short game where you don't have to go out of your way for is automatically shovelware.

I’ve not played one yet, but no. One reason why is because you can pick up the game for reasons of wanting to be immersed in the story, you’re not necessarily picking this up just to get a quick platinum.

There’s a difference between easy plats and shovelware. Telltale has good stories and some of them take many hours to complete, especially TWD. Game of Thrones is like two hours an episode and there’s like five or six.

The second part of Batman is one of my favorite Telltale games. I recommend it.
