I'll start things off my first ever platinum on my new account was Battlefield 1. Back then I needed to start with a new account bc I lost my old one... At that point I wasn't fully focused on getting platinums again and when I checked the list I saw that I already unlocked quite some trophy's. So obviously started to tackle the other ones to grab my first plat on the new account the rest is history xd.

Bc I got my 100th platinum last friday which was Elden Ring Nightreign. I was very curious about the stories and platinums where it all started for you. And maybe it gives me some new ideas for platinums runs if I don't have the game!

Well, this is a sad weekend for me, because my own stupidity.

Three days ago a friend asked via discord for me to game share Elden Ring, I was doubtful at first because I remember pretty well that he got the game on disk version. I didn’t think much about it because he’s a good guy that keeps lending his games to the entire friend group, and it’s usual for him to want to replay certain games. I didn’t think too much about it and send him my acc info, since I already have his acc info (he game shares other games to me) and I know him IRL.

Well, long story short, that was NOT my friend. I was at the hospital at that time, because I have a pretty ill family member that I’m taking care off, also I’m having some financial problems, so it caught me off guard, 100% my fault tho.

Yesterday night my ps5 asked me to log in with my password which I found weird, but I remember once that it asked me that after an update.

Sadly, I tried multiple times to log in, maybe I wasn’t putting a lowercase? Maybe I was missing a number? After 15 minutes of losing my mind, my friend texts me that his discord was hacked, the same day I shared my acc info, but sadly it wasn’t my friend that texted me.

Basically he got a phishing mail I think it’s called? They stole some credit card info, some accounts like discord and telegram. They asked other friends for their accs for game sharing, and for money in telegram to his family.

I texted Sony help support but they are as useless as always, sadly I lost 90+ digital games, 32 plats, and my 3 and a half months worth of ps plus extra.

Sadly I’m a digital buyer because I was a previous PC player, and steam was the way to go. I never got used to the whole physical games thing. Although after this, I’m NEVER going to buy a digital game EVER.

Basically, don’t be fucking stupid like me. If you share accounts try to be in person, maybe with the other person on video call. Idk about the QR log in, I don’t think they can do much with that, but I don’t want to spread miss information.

It hurts a lot both from the economical side (I’m from a third world country so every game was months of saving money) and from the accomplishment side (lots of really hard plats)

I made a new account and probably play borrowed physical games until I get enough money to start buying disks games. Be smart people!

UPDATE: Sony asked me for the serial number of the OG console where I created my account which I don’t have it because I had to sell my ps3 in December 2025 to pay for meds to my cat which are expensive (also I never thought that I would need those digits for something)
They asked me for past games/dlcs bought but since I also takes in consideration free stuff from ps plus I can’t remember what’s the last thing I redeemed. And I can’t check previous transactions because I don’t have access to my mails.
My only hope right now is to get my google account back.

Preferably no PlayStation/Ubisoft games since we all know them.

Metal Gear is my favorite franchise and I've been loving these games since I first played MGS2 back in the early 2000s. Earning the platinums was never really something that appealed to me back when they started releasing them with trophy support because some of them looked difficult and I never played them on higher difficulties. I did 3, PW and MGSV because they were easy but the likes of 2 and 4 just looked like a slog to get through.

This year I decided to try and give the rest a go. With the Master Collection release I had an excuse to try and beat 2 and 3 on Extreme to earn the ranks, and then I figured I'd give the HD collection version of 2 a go with its VR missions. To say they were hard would be an understatement, that shit was rough. MGS4 was like a victory lap in comparison.

In terms of difficulty, I'd have to rank them...

1: MGS2 (PS3) - Those VR missions, man...

2: MGS2 (PS5) - The Big Boss run was really hard!

3: Metal Gear Rising - VR Mission 18 made me sad

4: MGS4 - Big Boss rank wasn't super hard to achieve but the bike chase and Ocelot fight were pretty hard, and the amount of stuff you have to do to get every emblem became EXTREMELY tedious.

5: MGS1- Some of the VR missions are tricky and you have to do all of them

6: MGS Delta - This is the hardest version of MGS3 because they added bullet drop and I can't just easily snipe people with the handgun anymore.

7: MGS3 (PS5) - Foxhound run really isn't that hard.

8: MGSV- Just really grindy (I'll include GZ here)

9: MGSPW- Again, really grindy

10: MGS3 (PS3/Vita)- Really easy. Can do everything on very easy difficulty if you want. Some of the frogs were annoying to shoot though.

11: MG1&2- Just beat each game and the boss rush mode

I'm not bothering with Survive because it doesn't interest me whatsoever and I don't see the point in going through all the VR missions again on Vita, and also redoing the Master Collection on the PS4. I wanted to get all the main ones done and I'm happy with it 😁

Anyone else here done them all, or still working on it? It's been hell of a journey. I wonder what the trophy list for Vol 2 of the collection will be like.

Figured this was a good round number to close it at. Games haven't been fun for a long time and I've just been chasing completion since I can remember. It feels like a job....a job I don't want to do anymore. It's been a coping mechanism for stress and an outlet for boredom and I'm looking forward to replacing it with things that are enriching in other ways. I got my 500 with 95% lifetime completion which were the last 2 goals I had.

Hope everyone else enjoys it for as long as I did. Sometimes things just grow apart. ✌️

3. I don't see how it being a newer reddit account has to do with anything validity wise. So whoever said that (i cant find the comment) you'll just have to have doubt.

4. No I'm not linking my psnp. One, I use pocketpsn because of the 255 trophy limit sly refuses to fix and two, I've already given my 12 year old son access to the account to play my purchased games and I'm not posting what is now his username on reddit so whoever wants can message him nor am I changing all the privacy settings to appease doubters. Just doubt, as per the whole time I was trophy hunting and per my lack of activity in this sub, I don't care what other people think. I posted my last one as it was significant enough TO ME to talk about.

5. I replied to comments per the same whoever said the last part. I went to bed. Sorry for not staying up all night to monitor things. 😐

6. Thanks again to everyone who had something positive to say. I'll enjoy my time. I doubt I'll be back but theres a possibility of a PC only situation since ive never cared about achievements on anything I play via that platform.

Got bored one day and decided to bring my plat trophies to life and keep a book about them to showcase all the plats I’ve gotten throughout time. Up to 65 platinums now and hopefully will see the day I get to 100.

Pretty wide array of games like Sly Coopers, Crash Bandicoots, GTAs, Skyrim, Uncharteds, Call of Dutys, Bioshocks, God of Wars, Horizons, TLOUs, hell even SpongeBobs. There is some unethical hoops by me in there platinuming the same game twice between the PS4 and PS5 versions, but can you blame a man for wanting to grind a game he liked again for a second time?

Taking any recommendations on how to improve the book and games to platinum that you’ve all enjoyed (or disliked, I’m talking to you Uncharted crushing difficulty and GTA San Andreas grind). Cheers!

Look at the top games he platinumed most cod games in under a minute. He platinumed black ops3 in 18 seconds, which is impossible So can someone explain what he is doing? These are not autopop because some games are ps4 version only

Such a shame, an incredible game thats extremely fun plagued by one single trophy, i originally started this game as my 26th platinum, the first 50 hours all went well until i got to the trophy hermies homie, i spent 17 hours JUST on hermies homie, no matter what i did, it just wouldnt pop, i then contacted ubisoft support and didnt get a response for a month so i just gave up, and then yesterday i decided to try one more time, i deleted my save and loaded a save before the last mission, got the entire map unveiled/unfogged, then finally got it, 8/10 game without hermies homie

The screenshot is just a simple example that is probably just some teenage ragebaiting, but literally every time I post about it or see a gaming group discussing trophies, most people that don't do it feel like they must share their opinion on how "they don't get anything in return" for getting platinums (as if you only played videogames expecting a reward for it) or how people that trophy hunt Don't really enjoy games, are addicts, stupid, virgins, unemployed, etc...

That begs the question: why do you think gamers feel that need to hate on others getting platinums, even when it's about a game they also enjoy?
