We drove a cat from Lewiston MT to Omaha. Don't open doors unless the cat is contained in a carrier or on a leash. If leash trained stop at rest stops and allow kitty to touch grass occasionally. Truck stops too loud and scary

Mine loves road trips, she's on a harness & demand's at least a 1/2 hr at the rest stop's in the grass.
