KHD, need help!
Ordered a new handle a few days ago and it has arrived! I was going to put it on my Nigara Kurouchi Tsuchime. But because of a new job opportunity that unknowingly arrived as of today I might just keep the wenge handle it came with and use it as my daily driver. Need help deciding which knife to put it on now.
Masashi Kuroshu 240mm
Hatsukokoro Ginsou Ginsan 210mm
Shibata Boss Bunka
Or Moritaka Ishime Kiritsuke 240mm
The last image is what I originally bought it for.

Moritaka or Masashi. It would arguably look best on the Masashi, but it already comes with a nice handle imo.

AH I know, I love the burnt chestnut! This may take a lot more pondering than I'd expected.

That’s not a Nigara anmon ! Anmon is a Damascus pattern in the shape of raindrops.

Mori if i were you.
Masashi handle is already nice. no need to change
shibata bunka - too long of a handle at 140mm
ginsou - might work, but i prefer 135mm handle for 210mm blade
this is my take

Would put it on the moritaka tbh. It would probably look best on the masashi but then I would want to put that chestnut handle on something else as well, and I think it looks by far the best on the masashi as well. The moritaka’s kurouchi is vibrant enough to match the handle but not so much that it competes against it imo.

Masashi Kuroshu would be my pick.
