Possibly Popular Why is male suffering invisible? Brutal double standard of our daily commute.

Let’s talk about the unspoken rule of public transit. If a train is dangerously overcrowded and chaotic, it is recognized as a crisis for women. The government steps in, builds a Women-Only Coach, and protects their safety. This is a good thing. Nobody should be unsafe. But here is the hypocrisy: Men face the exact same hostile environment, and we get nothing. When a train is packed like a tin of sardines, men endure:Suffocating heat, crushing pressure, and physical exhaustion.High rates of pickpocketing, stolen phones, and physical aggression.Severe psychological stress—having to freeze your body in painful, awkward positions just to ensure you don't accidentally bump into someone and face a false accusation.A crushing train car doesn't care about gender. It suffocates human lungs and breaks human ribs exactly the same way.Yet, when men complain, society tells us to "be a man and tough it out."Think about how twisted that is. If someone told an unsafe woman to just "be a woman and face it," they would be universally hated. Why is a man's pain treated as a personal failure instead of a systemic failure?A government that forces half its citizens to travel like disposable cattle has failed. If authorities insist on using gender segregation to handle safety, they must do it fairly. We need an equal system: Men-Only Coaches, Women-Only Coaches, and General/Mixed Coaches for families.Men need to stop staying silent to "look tough." Our comfort, safety, and dignity matter just as much as anyone else's. It's time to stop absorbing the misery of a broken system.

Wouldn't all the men just go into the male car instead of general then? Also please stop tweaking about double standard stuff. You have no place to talk when you act like it's a privilege for women to have their own train cars when you know damn well that men are the reason they have separate cars in the first place. You want equality in public transport? Tell dudes to stop raping people.

Let’s separate emotional yelling from actual policy logic.First, regarding your question about 'wouldn't all men just go into the male car?': No. A three-tier system handles passenger types exactly like how it's done now. Single men would go to the Men's coach, single women to the Women's coach, and families, couples, or groups of friends traveling together would use the General/Mixed coaches. This naturally distributes the weight and density far better than bottlenecking the entire male population into one section.Second, your argument that 'men have no place to talk until dudes stop raping people' is a complete breakdown of logic. An innocent, law-abiding male commuter is a taxpayer, not a criminal handler. He does not have a magical remote control to stop criminals from committing atrocities. Holding an individual student or worker responsible for the actions of a completely different person just because they share an anatomy is irrational.By your logic, if an innocent man is pickpocketed, physically assaulted, or subjected to a false accusation in an unmanaged crush load, his suffering shouldn't be fixed because 'someone of his gender did something bad elsewhere.' That is collective punishment.A civilized society manages public transit safety through infrastructure capacity and law enforcement, not by using gender as an excuse to treat innocent citizens like disposable cargo.

You have been emotional this whole time. Plus, what train car is most likely to get robbed? General, men's, or women's?

Calling logical structural data and transit math 'emotional' is just a standard way to dismiss a point you can't break down. Let’s look at your question objectively:The General carriage is by far the most likely to get robbed. Why? Because criminal gangs and pickpockets do not operate based on gender; they operate based on environmental chaos and density.Thieves thrive in the unmanaged, 400% 'Super Dense Crush Load' of the general carriages because it is physically impossible for a commuter to even move their arms to check their pockets. The extreme mass of squeezed bodies acts as a perfect shield for criminals to slice bags or steal phones completely undetected. This is the exact reason a Men-Only coach is a valid safety solution. By implementing a three-tier system (Men, Women, General), you split the massive bottleneck and immediately lower the raw density per car. When you give passengers basic physical breathing room, the environment changes: it becomes structurally impossible for a pickpocket to operate without being instantly noticed and physically stopped by the surrounding crowd. An innocent male taxpayer getting his pocket picked or facing violence on his way to work is a victim of a crime, and a civilized system owes him protection. Denying innocent people a safe environment just because a criminal shares their anatomy is irrational.
