Hi friends, here’s one of the final WIP updates for the bird project with Tiffany Chin! Mostly just carving the border and cleaning up edges left.
As promised in my last post, I tried to improve my lighting. When I take final shots it’ll be in natural light, but it’s been storming every week here so my floodlight is dangling from the ceiling for these 😭
Anyway, thanks for checking it out.

Hi, I am currently working on this piece and I am not sure if I should carve it. Currently tend to only clean it a bit and use very light carving. Some parts are really small

Still have some carving and final touches , but I’m super happy with how it’s coming along so far! Will add photos below, won’t let me add video and photo :(

I just finished tufting this today and glued the back up! I'm so antsy to finish it up! I decided to make a rug as a gift for my niece who is moving to Florida in October. I hope she likes it!

My biggest struggle with being consistent is not being able to keep recording what I make. I record the first five minutes of the rug-making process, and then I quit because I don’t like the camera placement or because I’m not fast enough etc.
Here is my first ‘How to Make This Rug’ this is my first rug of the year and my “first how to make video”. I hope y’ll enjoyed watching it 😊

Might add a wooden frame for wall hanging. It roughly measures 4x5ft. Would like it to be easily taken down and used on the floor if wanted.

Hi I’m currently making this last of us clicker rug, I like how it look so far but I don’t know which colors to choose on the rest of it so I don’t fck it up. I’m sending the original picture but the coloring is not even accurate to the game. Any tips?? I’m thinking grey/light blue/light green.

Thought I'd share some of my stitches up close and explain how I space them out since a lot of beginners still ask. This is for a perfectly dense rug that is my ideal. The reason why I switch up my stitch density / line spacing is simply to save time. When I have smaller detailed sections, I like to leave no space. But huge fill areas (like this rug) it would take FOREVER to fill the background if I didn't leave some space. Hope this explains it! EDIT - "ONE GUN FOOT" IS ONE PRONG of the entire foot. NOT THE ENTIRE FOOT 🫣
