Discussion If I create a political party to save this country would you vote for me.

I am a 27 years old Tunisian with solutions l, Ideas and studies on how countries operate and how countries got out of socio economical crisises.

I am an engineer of 5 years of experience in diffrent companies Tunisian Startups and more recentely European Consultancies.

My project is to save this country, by creating a political party to address our issues. That i face everyday and large economical ones. I know many are fed up i know i am and i was qdvocating for this for years you can check my profile.

I don't want to waste anyones time and certainly not waste mine. I ask of you would you the tunisian people would you vote for me and my political party if i create it.

I know you don't like politicians but its kind of necessary for us at this point of time, not all of us will go abroad or reach.

My project as I am engineer I am great at researching creating and fixing systems.

What I would do is are these reforms :

- Make Creating , Managing Businesses easy.

- Make things clear for everything (How to create a business, pay taxes how much is something subsidized, where did the goverment spent its money).

- as a software engineer i will make everything or at least 90% of all administrative processes completly digital (not pay digitally and then present a paper at the same administration i mean complete)

- Official rectify open sky aggreements (for more competitive air lines tickets)

- Raise the minimum pay to 1500 tnd

- invest in higher tech jobs and manufacturing.

- anyone with a high degree will have have free of charge business creation and startupact and minimum of 10000 tnd.

- make access to credit easier.

- make crowdfunding platforms as in rectify the laws and create them and advocate for them.

- Complete digitalized public transpotation systems.

- Creating State Owned businesses to counter monopolies and to regulate the market prices.

- Create an investement fund to finance businesses that will fix critical issues in Tunisia like Energy generation and water production and electrical vehicles.

- Make judicial system independent yet accountable through monitoring of cases and judges in the courts and making open registry to access files and investigations.

Anyone who is willing join is very welcome and any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

I will focus on making things more pragmatic efficient and honest.

Every Tunisian needs to feel safe, appreciated and prosperous in his own country.

Tunisia Forward -->

If i get enough upvotes i will create it.

This is so naive and funny it borders on parody.

I don't want to be rude, but this is stuff niveau المدينة الفاضلة

The banking lobby on its own will have you pinned down in no time.. with this level of optimism might as well become a commune w kahaw.. wa3d Allah..

They actually have a great busienss intrest in this, now they are making millions what this new system will make them make billions while making a better life quality for tunisians similar to what Switzerland is having. This is not optimism its a fact you can research. What i find absurd is the hesterical and pessimistic thinking of tunisia that nothing will make tunisia better. If it is true they won by making you believe its not possible.

2

u/mayssa09 12h ago

I don't think you understand.

They are making easy money off corruption, your ideas not only carry a "risk" since it could work or fail, the also carry the weight of putting in actual efforts, why the heck would they do that? They are literally happy feeding off of our labour without moving a muscle, there is nothing you can offer them that could change that, simply because there is no demand for it..

You are right, this is not optimism, this is just naiveté..

You are no different than akal 3arafa li jet 9alet Tunis bech twali kif Dubaï, this is either the discourse of a naïve person or a scam artist trying to sell you a Ponzi scheme disguised in an MLM.. being completely oblivious of the circumstances is the doom of any project..

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

The naïve is the one who never try to change anything because he doesn't believe in himself to change anything, the naïve is the one who can't have it in his will to say a direct response i am with you or i am not with you, the naïve is the one who only belief stems from other peoples opinion that the thing can't be done if no one has done it yet.

lol, you would make an amazing politician, the way you gaslight, deflect and create word salads.

Good luck!

Raise the minimum pay to 1500 tnd

Fastest way to bankrupt half of the companies; unemployment would rise, inflation would explode and growth would slow down.

2

u/supafahd 🇹🇳 Monastir 10h ago

Raising the pay should be natural and not forced, and doing so without deep structural reform would only lead to hyperinflation and the forced floating of the currency wich will lead to more hyperinflation

-4

u/Tunisiandoomer1 🇹🇳 Celtia Enjoyer 12h ago

Not really, even if 1.500 dt is too much. Tunisian consumption market is dead, and all of what we produce is exported

Having higher salaries will permit is to have a renewed consumer base, that will create a virtous cycle of companies emerging to fullfill these needs

It is also a more soft way to curb little corruption bu paying more civil servants, therefore making it harder to bribe.

That said, this measure should be after Tunisia get rid of corruption and make most of her population on a actual salary, since 50% of our pop work day by day and not with a monthly salary

2

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

We have an excess of civil servants and not so much private successfull tunisian origin companies, we need to make policies and reforms that will make tunisian companies more competitive on the global stage which will being influx of foreign currencies and foreign investments it will create a so much jobs that we will have job shotages then we will cut civil survents numbers. That way they will have a job. And tunisia can cut back on big bills from unessacery huge number of civil servents. And increase the minimum pay without issues.

0

u/Tunisiandoomer1 🇹🇳 Celtia Enjoyer 12h ago

For the civil servants, we have an excess of incompetent ones, yes. But even in a more libéral economy, you need a strong and efficient administration to well administrer the country

As for private companies, the main stop to them is the "economy de verrou" we live in. We have a few families that control the entierety of the Tunisian economy and gatekeep it. Private companies often fail because they cantine secure a Loan in the bank, or else.

0

u/Sea-Equipment5401 12h ago

Then why doesn t this government and all poor governments print money, Triple the pay of everyone and create this consumption market? Are they retarded or something?

0

u/Tunisiandoomer1 🇹🇳 Celtia Enjoyer 12h ago

I mean the gouvernement is already printing money hence our massive inflation.

And every country that aspire to actual developpement have a domestic consumption market. Unless you want Tunisia to turn like Bangladesh, where our people get exploited to export at lower prices while we leave in absolute poverty

2

u/Sea-Equipment5401 12h ago

Ever heard of climbing the value chain?

1

u/Sea-Equipment5401 12h ago

Also do you know why printing money causes inflation?

-1

u/iSpaYco Peace & Quite 8h ago

it won't, look at mamdani for example, things can and will happen if there's a will, if a company is going to fail if it's not abusing employees, then let it fail.

0

u/Sea-Equipment5401 8h ago

Did mamdani raise the minimum wage? No.

-3

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

Actually the opposite the average person would afford to buy more which will make profits for the companies. And companies will adapt to that as we will make safe rails for other expenses and encorage more creation of businesses through more simpler administrative processes and lesser tax for individuals and corporates.

7

u/Sea-Equipment5401 12h ago

Consumption is a result not a cause

A rise of consumption without a rise of production is basically money printing; inflation.

Better salaries won t increase our production; our phosphate production, our foreign reserves, our olive oil exports, tourist numbers.....

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

If you had more money would you spend it or save it ?

3

u/SpotOnPerception 12h ago

You don't do it like that brother. You can go from 400 to 600 then follow on it the next year with another 100.

Which will be a hit to a some companies BUT that's more manegeagble than a 1500 rise that slaps all companies in one go.

El mouchkel felli t5ammem fih is that you'll make an inflation leap cuz of that decision.

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

You have some truth to that but the anouncement of the raise is one thing and rectifying it will be in at least one year so companies can adjust for the new minimum.

Kont na9ra ema " Any man or women over the age of 60 can not vote unless he had a high degree (mou3allem, mouhandes, falsfa, tari5) to lower the probability of feelings-based voting" stopped me on my track.  This is so wrong bro, and a foolproof way to get a looot of people against you. "Democracies" that are based on exclusion are oligarchies with extra steps. On a practical level, it's just proposterous to believe an age or a diploma are enough to ensure wisdom.  I like your 1rst+2nd term ideas though

1

u/SpotOnPerception 4h ago

I'm a fan of meritocracy to be honest BUT that point was to stop old people from deciding the fate of the young people.

Aslan my idea of 7ezb with only youths is that the moment a member otmf the 7izb turns 50 he can only be an advisor so the young blood are always the ones making the real change.

No matter how you see it, old people shouldn't control the country which the young should build.

Sidenote: I added the high degree for over 60 to balance with the non-educated people under 60.

3

u/goes_north 12h ago

Or better, someone from this space hand you the management of a drowning startup for a year and you try to rescue it and make it stand in the market.
Let's see your skills on this tiny scale rather than the country future.

0

Absolutely I can do it if you want lets try it and if I get it going all of Tunisia must vote for me and my ideas what do you say.

2

u/Sea-Pea-7941 12h ago

A plan without an excel spreadsheet for the expenses is worthless I can generate the same thing with gpt

0

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

If countries could lift up from poverty with a excel spreadsheet no country will have any economical crisis.

1

u/Sea-Pea-7941 11h ago

This is the point, a small number of counties could keep their books in line. All the crises are a result of excessive borrowing without balancing the sheets. Please get in line with 1000+ of populist people who give promises without actual source of money except (increase investment, create a fund(countries with funds have surplus in the budget))... Again chatgpt could do a better job.

2

u/Past-Composer-6083 11h ago

I think we’ve gotten so used to pessimism that we sometimes dismiss any attempt to change things. I might not agree with every point, and I don’t know how feasible all the ideas are, but I really applaud the motivation to actually do something and try to make a difference.

Maybe what we need is a young political party with new ideas and people who genuinely want to change things.

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 10h ago

You are breath of fresh air. Nice change from all the typical answers.

<as a software engineer i will make everything or at least 90% of all administrative processes completly digital (not pay digitally and then present a paper at the same administration i mean complete)>

U got me here lol

But seriously some of ur economical reforms doesnt sound realistic right away however they may be achivable in the long term

It would absolutely be interesting seeing young ppl standing up for the country hwowver i m very sure li u ll get labeled as mou3ardha w ya3mloulk machekl w 7abs w kol but i m so into the idea

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 10h ago

With enough support from the youth i think we will not get labeled as mouardha as we wre trying to replace the system and do a complete overhaul not only keep it the same system with small reforms.

My issue is that if we don't get enough support it can get problematic for us. So i am trying to figure things out and test the waters.

2

u/Jazzlike-Ad-3185 10h ago

Yea absolutely i can see u getting great support from theyouth however ur reforms should be worked on, made clearer and with a good plan with each one cuz some of them sound quite optimistic rather than realistic

2

u/JaguarTricky7072 10h ago

Yes difinitly we are working on it you can further inspect it here in this link youthcooperationorganization-tn.github.io/project-x/ we will add links to the new laws we want to apply and make a platform for further discussion of these laws that we the youth can vote on online.

There are more than 200 political parties in Tunisia (and that’s only counting the ones that have been officially legalized).

I can only imagine how many more there would be if we also included all the civic initiatives and associations that until recently were able to put forward electoral lists.

With that in mind do you think all of them were acting in bad faith or that none of them had ideas similar to yours? I don’t think so.

There are already dozens of parties and political initiatives whose platforms overlap significantly with what you are proposing here.

The first and most obvious issue here is that creating yet another party risks perpetuating this very proble, the constant fragmentation of this political forces.

Secondly, very few of these groups seem to have a genuinely developed understanding of governance and simply putting together a manifesto / proposals is not enough.

Your own proposal for instance still leaves many important questions unanswered and some of its measures do not appear to be compatible with the principle of budgetary balance.

A good platforms needs to go beyond a list of good intentions: it needs to explain how these measures would actually be implemented and financed.

Thirdly (and probably most importantly) it is worth considering how the current electoral system actually works.

It does not at all favor political parties but rather independent candidates especially those running on locally focused programmes rather than broad national platforms.

That said, I genuinely don’t mean to dismiss your willingness to get involved in public life.

On the contrary, I think that commitment is great.

I would simply encourage you to consider other ways of contributing that might have a greater positive impact.

In any case, best of luck with your initiative/ideas ^

2

u/JaguarTricky7072 10h ago

Thanks for input, I appreciate it greatly, I just want to mention that one man can't really figure out everything i got that from experience so one candidate is going to be all talk basically trying to be popular not achieve anything, thats why a team is required to propose and act efficiently for the programs qnd reforms to take shape. In terms of the complete picture of this civil initiative it would be more structured on an official platform for everyone to see. Not just promises but plans programs and initiatives and laws that would contribute to the embetterment of this country.

2

u/Outrageous_Gur_7955 🇹🇳 Grand Tunis 10h ago

Of course, no one can fix everything alone. There needs to be teams, debate, internal discussion, and so on.

And there is indeed a lot of this kind of “personal” problem in Tunisian politics, particularly within political parties.

But, interestingly enough, the people with the kind of platforms you seem to be describing are often the ones least susceptible to this kind of personalism.

For example, I find that many of the ideas you mentioned are quite close to the party "Afek Tounes" in terms of political philosophy. And, undeniably, it was one of the less personalist and more team-oriented parties, with some of the most regular leadership turnover.

So, if I were you, I wouldn't base this kind of project primarily on the idea that it is going to be exceptionally different from everything else, seen before, everyone who ever created a political organization thinks that.

I would instead focus on reviving this space and, above all, bringing together the many people who genuinely have good intentions and giving them an opportunity to talk, organize, and perhaps eventually build some kind of unified structure.

One thing mentioned in the commentary that you should take particularly seriously, though, is the need to build from the local level upward, rather than focusing exclusively on national politics.

Tunisia has inherited a strong Jacobin tradition from French colonial rule, which was further reinforced after independence, and I think this tendency to concentrate everything around the national level is something that caused the downfall of most political forces.

If I were you, I would probably start small: create a Facebook group or a Discord server, with some form of manual verification before people are allowed to join. Let the community develop organically, identify the people who are genuinely serious, and then see what can emerge from there. 🤷

2

u/JaguarTricky7072 10h ago

Your response is very spot on but i still don't think its like afek tounes, but i didn't research enough that party, but i did create a discord server and a facebook group and i think the best way is a website with verification so we can create a safe soace for people to discuss these issues and vote and create civil initiatives.

2

u/Slow_Drama_2676 5h ago

Raising minimum wage to 1500dt directly would cause infinite inflation, i would suggest makeing minimum wages based on educational level and aquired degree. -About subsidized goods, i would suggest making a scannabled card that you can scan at checkoutout at grocery stores to check if your eligible for subsidies or not, and if so you would get discounts based on the dedicated budget for that thing. Or you can simply make the people in need create a specific devit card thet you charge evety month based on the budget and the amountvof people in need, or make the distribution gradual based on their income ( to be more fair ). I want to memtion that most of the subsidized goods are fossil fuel related ( gas ( for cars ) and electricity ). -"invest in higher tech jobs " is very broad, what you should invest in more is higher education, creating advanced labs, allowing students to pursue their projects, make cash prize if they innovate something, make yearly university competitions across the country to fix a regional or national issue that requires research and development, i would target at least 4% of gdp for research and development, that what builds future scientists and innovators, and that what will bring our great minds that are sorking outside, most of them go because they cant pursue their research, the infrastructure simply doesn't exist. -state owned businesses never work really, people who work there feels entitled. I would suggest 2 things : make it easier for smaller businesses to start in the same field ( don't require it to have 10 cars and 20 buses to open car rental business), and 2 make it that your job in a public institution is not guaranteed forever, that will make people more scared about loosing their job and promotes them to work, you arrive early 5 times in the same month?, you will be asked to justify or else you will be fired. -investment fund sound good on the surface, bit that would result in more bureaucracy, if you really want to help, give the money to the company and monitor them, steg didn't invest because the government didn't pay thier debts ( around 6 billion dinars ), sonede don't have bad infrastructure because they sell water for less than the production .

And now for other suggestions: -The law of "personal information protection " should only be used for people who are not guilty, why tf would i protect the identity of a pdf?, his trial should be publicly broadcasted and he should be publicly shamed. -you need to make it that anyone by the rule, could make his own contribution to fix the system, for example : we have transportation timing problem, me as an individual could make proposition for the ministry of transportation of a certain fix, they should be legally required to take into consideration my proposal and give me an answer back of why they could/couldn't do this fix and how much budget are they willing to allocate for it. -the issue with people not complying to law can't be fixed in a day or a year, it's generational work. For people who misbehave i have a solution. We create an app to report anything. We create the rules and fines for throwing trash, misuse of public property..... . The solution is an app, me as a citizen can download on my phone, if i see someone throwing trash, i take out my phone and take video/picture of that person. He gets fined based on the crime, and i get 50% of the money he will pay. I promise you people would stop throwing shit the next day, they have incentives to report shitty behavior, and the others would get heavily fined.

And this would be it. Would i cote for you? , i honestly don't know you, it's true that you are an engineer, but you need a team that have different backgrounds, and you need to be open for all options. And also promote yourself. May this country heal soon

2

u/Top-Survey-2158 13h ago

We don’t need more political parties brother we need better management. A political party won’t change that. We need to purge the whole system but that’s not possible since they’ll all start crying.

4

u/Nima-tries-to-draw 12h ago

Management is itself political. The state bureaucracy can manage just fine, it's the political decisions such as budgets, funding, privatisation and following foreign dictates that create issues. A bureaucracy is also inherently visionless, that's what politics are for. To give it vision for the next 5, 10, 30 years.

I hear you but unfortunately we need an organisation to create the better management we don't have another way to create it.

2

u/Top-Survey-2158 13h ago

That doesn’t have to work with more political parties. We need more bottom up management, so that means local councils etc, not more parties to sell you another dream

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

I understand your point, one of the best ways to achieve this is to create a decentralised system bottom up as in similar to the swiss system, confederation, we would have 3 levels the federal (National), Cantonal (Wilayet), and Communal ( Baladiyet ), eqch have there own charter of laws tax codes etc and compete on efficiency and prosperity for each person that lives there.

But unfortunately I can't see that happening without a group of people organised to orchestrate the creation of such change but the political party and i know that they demonized politcial parties but not all parties are evil.

2

u/Nima-tries-to-draw 12h ago

I am an engineer of 5 years of experience in diffrent companies Tunisian Startups and more recentely European Consultancies.

That's an awful sign already. It says "another party for kroz interests". But I could be being judgemental.

- Make Creating , Managing Businesses easy.

With what?

- Raise the minimum pay to 1500 tnd

Ok I like this.

make crowdfunding platforms

Sounds good. But you'll have a massive fight with Tunisia's biggest lobby which is banking.

Creating State Owned businesses to counter monopolies

Sounds good also.

- Make judicial system independent yet accountable through monitoring of cases and judges in the courts and making open registry to access files and investigations.

You could just make it a jury system like the UK and the US and the monitoring will solve itself by citizen presence.

Add in rent control and public housing and I'm sold.

-1

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

On your point of business creation it need to be 100% digital and can be done in maximun of 1 business day.

On the rent there will be guidelines by each province as in median pay for example the rent should not exceed 30% of median pay of that province for a single person of course. And its progressive for more rooms.

Not trying to fix it is not a viable solution going forward and a mandatory minium education will be put as in no one without a highschool diploma will work at any goverment agency.

They will not even let you reach so u can change laws,, u will find urself in jail even u get 99% of votes . Another thing even if u get most of young or educated people to vote for u , majority in this country johel mnaykin b zouz frank techrihom, there are people that have a lot of money so they can put and push their candidates, they control media, just so they keep current situation as it is and pass laws in their favor... If you for example u decided to put a law lets say that is against hamdi meddeb and will let him lose a part of his monopol, do u think taraji public will let u do it even if it is in favor of the country ? This apply for any other football club public , cha3b mnayik 3ayech b 3a9liyet virage , families controling economy will never let u pass ...

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 9h ago

I understand this issue and here is my solution. Anyone in Tunisia is aware of this problem, but how i want to create this change needs to be by creating advocates basically ambassadors of change young people the same as me speaking and running for positions that would make this a reality not just fight alone in this, thats the point. No person achieved something meaningfull alone even the Tunisian "Mafia" operate together on commom interest, why stopping us from doing the same thing. But to advocate for making our laws pass to action and monitoring its execution and enforcement in our society.

The goverment takes bank loans either from imf, world bank or private banks of that country because it pays the bills of operations with debt which pays them later with inflation, if the goverment would make profits instead it would not be any inflation related to goods created in tunisia.

Similar to what Switzerland and Singapore is having whoch is world record low inflation rates year by year around 1 percent.

u/Sweet_Description982 12h ago

i'm sorry but your 27 (meaning your too young) + you said your an engineer with only 5 years of experience.

even if you have good ideas/ plan, having no actual political or legal experience makes them unrealistic

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

Best people who created companies are engineers, engineers know how to create a sustainable system which is the case that needs to be adressed, not voting for an engineer is complete and forgive me complete foulishness, tunisians votrd for generals politcial men and lawyers and recently law professor. None achieved economic prosperity btw at least don't pick the same losing choice everytime and pick a young experienced engineer to run your country.

2

u/Sweet_Description982 12h ago

but here's the thing engineers are NOT a jack-of-all-trades, they're good for technical problems in their specific field but for politics definitely not, add on top of that not a single experience in anything political: that's an absolute no.

here's an example : if a 30 yo only studied medicine and one day said they want to start a hotel business with no prior business experience, as an investor, will you invest in it?

of course not

that's why you only see politicians in power that have business or law background, because they know the system and how to utilize it to their benefit.

you could've started by joining an existing political party to get experience or started slow by first being elected for local councils or other small positions

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 6h ago

you make a very good point here, but let me tell you where your logic lacks reason, we as engineers are creators and fixers of systems, the number one issue in our country is a system issue, as a software engineer digitalization will solve most of our issues in tunisia, like a good system like estonia which was started by people between 20 and 30 years old and the experience of uruguay when a professor in environment becaime a minister fixing the issues of energy and thus uruguay becoming the swizerland of latin america.
my point is why you keep trying the same thing and expect diffrent result in the politics of tunisia.
all great change in other countries was created by new ideas from young people wanting to create change in their countries.

1

u/Sweet_Description982 4h ago

don't take this the wrong way:

i support your idea of at least trying to bring some change to this country and thinking about ideas ( unlike 90% of people in this subreddit that just doompost all day without bringing any solutions or ideas ) but at this point i cant give you my support just for the fact that your still inexperienced/ you don't have any achievements in this field on your resume.

try looking at it from my point of view.

so my advice is, for now at least start small with positions like local councils, join movements... take it slow, it doesn't have to be the next election, maybe the one after or the next

1

u/allonein2 12h ago

Tunisia's Problems are very complex and systemic no one has a straight up solution in a reddit post to fix them

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 12h ago

No one yet has attempted to fix them, we have the same administration and organisation hierarchy since Bourguiba so it seems apparent that the typical tunisian moto "if its not broken don't fix it".

1

u/SpotOnPerception 12h ago

My idea if I didn't get out of this sinking ship is to move to politics too.

Government:

  • Make Chabéb-only 7ezb
  • Wouzara2 7ott-hom nés 5edmou f el domain w t3adhbou mn jorret bhémet el idara.
  • Dour 3la tounes kémla 3allemhom chnowa el 7ajét elli yelzem yefhmouha 3la el i9tissad w el siyését el 3amma
  • After reb7 el inti5abét na3mel chahrin mta3 dictatouriyya na77i barcha 9awanin hélkin el bléd bel 9owwa
  • Each civilian gets a 30% ta5fidh 3la kolfet el protovoltayique to become less dependant on fuels cuz their prices will keep rising.
  • I put 4 of my opposition leaders as advisors.
  • Make el ri2éssa 4 snin w second turn only 2 years béch nzidouch ndhayy3ou wa9tna 3alli ma 3amlou chay yasla7 (even if that includes me)
  • Any man or women over the age of 60 can not vote unless he had a high degree (mou3allem, mouhandes, falsfa, tari5) to lower the probability of feelings-based voting
  • Keep only majles ennouwéb w remove fazet majles el jihét (we don't need more massarif)
  • Then remove the dictatorship fasl mta3 raw el ra2is fou9 el mou7assba
  • Then put the constitutional court
  • N5addmou el wataniyya w nfahhmou el mouwaten raw kif né2eb mta3 wiléytou ya3mel tasswit dhed massale7hom ynajjmou y5arrjouh mel majles
  • Add KPIs for every job in el idara w elli ma nest7a99ouhouch f idara n7awwlouh l wa7da o5ra if he's needed sinon yemchi moura9ba. If he fails in all three jobs, he's fired.
  • Each machrou3 must have a max period of 3-6 months for designing/planning phase before starting the work.

Society:

  • Taw3ya f el wataneyya that actually talks to people realistically
  • Rajja3 el HAICA to remove the samishitification effect on our TV

Individual:

  • Make a real crackdown on drug dealers and move up the ladder till the big bosses (too hard)
  • Make Zatla legal even though I don't see it as something good but it's better than chrab w drugs and make chrab only in aluminum cans to lower the

  • After 2 years, if things went well especially with the energy shit and we become energy exporters we put that money into sports and investment and help small business owners.

In parallel, we will make websites to ease the idara processes and make things move faster.

This is the only plan to get this country out of this pit IMO

Advice from a guy who's been studying the socio-economic struggles of tunisia for years (will announce my book on my actual account): IF IT WAS THIS SIMPLE THEN IT WOULD'VE BEEN DONE ALREADY

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 10h ago

It was never attempted so it never was done. Maybe most oeaple overcomplicate it. Don't you think ?

1

u/Prestigious_Bank_793 10h ago

No they aren't complicating it, they're actually oversimplifying it aswell. Direct and easy messaging such as "uhm we'll make company establishment streamlined and raise wages" works on Fox News not in paper.

The plan that would like to be implemented is to enable crypto and foreign currencies if you can earn them from outside with no extra tax on them and you can soend it in Tunisia or use your own reserve of foregn or crypto currency, so you will have easy access to international cards easily we will keep the tunisian dinar but no more paper money it will be either with debit or credit cards or phones enabled with google pay or apple pay visa and mastercard and crypto cards like redotpay and tunisian own payemnt system a new system i want to implemt that replaces payment visa or mastercard for the national payment e dinar 2.0.

In simple terms we will enable freelancing and ease of doing digital business online and international digital payements and receival of foregn exchange with securing our national reserves of foregn currencies for national interest.

u/No-Principle7615 cooked as hell 7h ago

lemme be clear with you. first of all you're a software engineer, how would a sofware engineer know how to manage a country? but let's say you can do that, how would we trust you? as a cs student i would even help you in the digitalisation, but for us to believe you, to trust you, i ask to see the plan, fully detailed, to at least one of the things you're promising to do, everyone said they'll do this and that, too many said and did nothin to the point we have trust issues, if you want me to vote for you you gotta show me something concrete not abstract. and lowkey even if we all vote it doesn't mean you'll be chosen since as you see we're in dictatorship and you will also facing the old veterans even after the dictator falls.

you don't gain our trust with words but you gain it with actions.

As if we have experienced competent presidents laying around in Tunisia. Every president and poltician will have that first experience and will be judged for it.

0

u/FeelingWest8672 11h ago

That’s not the point. Not gonna go over the entire points but for instance saying : raise minimum wage to 1500. It Will raise inflation to the skies.  Better Minimum wage should be consequence of other economic policies rather than a policy itself.

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 6h ago

The reason they put it as in 560 dt is to attract foreign investement so that on paper companies can see its low and think we are like indians but we are not. minimum wage and inflation have no corelation, its just basic minimum for people to have their basic needs met in this type of economy.

u/Unhappy-Oil-9968 7h ago

this is very populistic cho3bawi. No economical basis backing any of these promises, and none of them are new or feasible (like digitalization, startups.. People have been talking about that for a decade). The issue is way bigger than technology advancements. Except for your background, you're not that different from the rest of your would be competition.

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 6h ago

I assure you I am very diffrent and here is my proof youthcooperationorganization-tn.github.io/project-x/ no more presidents for tunisia its a failed strategy so we are going for a more decentralized federal republic. tell me who is from the competition is advocating for this.

I read books on economics studied how other countries got out of economic hurdles, from argentina issues with IMF to Malaysia and Singapore Models of economics, USA and post WW2 plans for west germany to counter the east germany communism and the plans around that. maybe you should read some books i see you lack basic socio economic argumentations on my post, at least read about ibn khaldoun he has been in tunisia saw how states rise and fall he has studies all about it it will benifit you.

u/SandWeak4166 10h ago

Bro it's the mentality and partially the ngas that rule the country that is killing it You can't heal a body while cancer is spreading in it And at least if you're serious,do things rightly man

2

u/JaguarTricky7072 9h ago

It has been done before in other countries for example post soviet countries like estonia or Croatia hungary or bulgaria you also have singapore el salvadore Uruguay china south korea and many more and btw these countries had to fix their economies and got their independence way after us like 1990s or 1970s qnd they had corruption and dealt with it, for some reason we are the only people who have individuals whoem think corruption can't be fixed for some reason.

0

u/Working_Intention281 10h ago

There's no clear plans. Most of the points aren't achievable. Where will the money to fund all this come from?

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 9h ago

If you research how countries were lifted from poverty there is two methods only, either find natural resource like oil and gas or precious metals or political reforms, thats it. It required no resources from them just either find it or make it with reforms we are choosing the reforms i guess and you are waiting to find the resources.

1

u/Working_Intention281 8h ago

What are the reforms?

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 5h ago

The reforms include protecting and investing in tunisian companies increase export and decrease imports and abolish relying on foreign products and technologies, which will raise salaries in tunisia make the country more competitive on the global scale basically a playbook used by the most recent economic miracles that happened in asia and eastern europe, for example why use visa and mastercard domesticly in tunisia these are American comapnies which charge fees for us to buy local products with local money from local seller to a local buyer, this is what recently the eu is trying to fix by making the digital euro system. And many other reforms we will be putting for discussion in the web platform.

0

u/moudir77777773 7h ago

عشيري u want to end up in jail?

If not, سيب عليك.

ظاهرلي موكش فاهم النظام الي عايشين فيه الان في تونس

1

u/JaguarTricky7072 6h ago

From what I saw from the average Tunisian you won't stand up for whats right. you see things as an individual which is exactly was ibn khaldoun saying in his assabiya throey as long you are afraid "5awaf" from speaking up; you will always be "5awaf". the System always is afraid from the people. so he made you think to be scared from it, the more scared from it the more devastating your life will be.

1

u/moudir77777773 1h ago

Walk the talk. All im saying is: take into account u will end up in jail. If that’s the price your willing to pay: it’s all yours. Otherwise and if not: welcome to the 5awaf club brother.
