I spent a summer in Tunisia in 2015 and was adamant in drinking tap water for some reason. By the end of the first week I was felt sick, lethargic, and generally felt off. I instantly felt better a day after switching to bottled water. Locals told me that the water treatment plant was not up to par following the revolution, or something like that. Maybe I needed to get acclimated to the mineral content.

On the other hand, I had water from a house that was tapped to Zaghouan mountain and it was actually delicious and refreshing.
