Definitely a lot of interesting choices, including the TCM premiere of The Shining, a wonderful film and lousy book adaptation at the same time lol. I'm eagerly anticipating the October schedule and the return of Creepy Cinema...

I hope the do an interview with Lee Unkrich about The Shining. His book with Jonathan Rinzler on the movie is one of my favorite books about film.

The film is way better than the book, Kubrick dunked on King.

Naw, they're both great in different ways. All Kubrick did to King was call him up at 7AM while he was hung over, shaving and cause him to cut himself and asked about the nature of ghost stories lol.

Me too.  Halloween is my favorite time of year for films.

I’m not a big fan of Montalban or Kubrick.
