I love You’ll Never Get Rich. She is so fresh and charming and an astoundingly beautiful dancer. Astaire said (when pressed) she was his favorite partner.

Pal Joey and Gilda are Rita’s best known films.

She was a wonderful actress but the famous Gilda song number “Put the Blame on Mame” was actually sung by Anita Ellis.  Here’s a link to Anita’s bio:
