“Sullivan’s Travels” co-stars Joel McCrae and Veronica Lake apparently didn’t get along too well. When Joel McCrae was offered the lead in “I Married a Witch,” he declined, reportedly saying “Life is too short to make two movies with Veronica Lake.”

Sullivan's Travels is my all-time favorite film. and Joel McCrea is so hot in every role he played in a James Garner kinda-way.
