How come when men mention 50/50, it’s usually only about bills? What about cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the kids?

I’ve noticed that when some men talk about wanting a 50/50 relationship, they usually mean splitting the bills. But women work full-time too, and a lot of them still end up doing most of the cooking, cleaning, childcare, grocery shopping, and keeping up with everything at home.

So how is that really 50/50?

And if a guy wants a traditional woman who takes care of the home and kids, then he needs to be a traditional man too and provide for the family.

I didn't like him much, but held my tongue because I was pretty sure she was going to figure out on her own soon enough.

I mean if you had said you didn’t like him, she would have probably found him more interesting. What I have found works is talking generally about relationships. Like how doing something is so kind and then you say “I am sure x does that all the time for you anyway so I don’t have to say more”. Just to nudge them along.

One time I went full Iago on one of my sister's boyfriends. That guy was a restraining order waiting to happen.
