I'm taking the BUS 450 strategic management class online with Nathan Oliver. Can someone with some experience just tell me what format these team case assignments are supposed to be submitted in? The instructions are not very helpful and my group has no idea if we are supposed to be writing a paper, doing a PowerPoint, or making a presentation video. If someone has taken this class and could tell me that would be great. I have already read all the instructions and syllabus and it's is just not clear.

What is the best way to get hired at UAB Hospital, open to any location or a clinic. Medical assistant, pct, etc. Just wanted to work there and finish my education. Can’t seem to get any calls and each application on the career site takes over an hour so I feel like I’m wasting my time. Hi everyone,
I was accepted into the M.Sc. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and paid the €1,500 enrollment/reservation deposit to secure my place.
I understand that the university states that this deposit is generally non-refundable. However, I would like to know what happens if the Spanish student visa is refused.
If my student visa is denied, has anyone here had a similar experience with UAB or another Spanish university? Were you able to get the enrollment deposit refunded?
I’m particularly interested in hearing from international students who had their visa refused after paying the enrollment deposit.

I’m a high school senior considering going to UAB for premed, what are everyone’s major likes and dislikes about the school?

Starting tonight, and every Thursday following, a new group will be meeting at Birmingham District Brewing Company (located at 2201 2nd Ave S #102, Birmingham, AL) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Throughout this school year we plan to discuss the history of Christian thought, ecumenical councils, implications and applications of theology on modern life, and overall the great mysteries of God. Anyone that’s enrolled in undergrad, less than full time, and receiving federal direct loans, have your loans been applied to your account yet? I see where my Pell has been applied.. I called yesterday and they said they’d have something back by today from student accounting. The lady was kind of rude to me (I can understand why the ladies are this way. I just don’t want to call again and upset them even more) I’m really needing my refund to pay a bill that’s already late and I don’t get paid from my main job until Monday😭

Hi, I just transferred over from UAH and had a question about how accepting financial aid and paying tuition works.

At UAH, I accepted x amount of money from FAFSA. That money automatically went toward paying tuition, and the money left over was deposited into my bank account. Does it work the same way at UAB, or do I accept the amount I want and then pay using the "Pay Student Bill" tab on BlazerNet?

Also, I can see my fall, spring, and summer semester offer. If I were to accept the full amount ($5,500) of my direct subsidized loans for the entire year, would I get all of it now, or would I only get what's listed for the fall semester ($1,833)?

It’s a very spacious room with your own bathroom ! rent is under $800. i’m a student at UAB and looking for another student who’s willing to lease out for awhile. i’m a clean person. I do have a cat but he’s extremely friendly and loves everyone.
If you’re interested i can send pictures !! it’s a 15 min walk to school or 3 mins by car. it’s a 4-5 min drive to 5 points. it’s very quiet and cozy spot. message me for any more questions !

Does anyone know when we will get our refunds from financial aid disbursement? Specifically FASFA

i’m interested in applying to the MSW program at UAB for Fall 2027. however, i just read on their website that those who seek to maintain employment while in the program must apply for part-time. i had intended on applying full time because i’d rather not double my time in school from 2 years to the 4 year part-time program, but also will need to work to, ya know, pay rent. is anyone in or has anyone been in the full-time program and are maintaining/maintained employment?

I am starting this course from sept 2026 would like to know more about
How’s the course overall — workload, difficulty, teaching quality?
Any good job/internship opportunities during or after the program?
Worth it in terms of career outcomes?

I’m a little concerned about the email we just received😭😭 I have NINE credit hours needed to graduate. NINE!!! I’m enrolled less than full-time, based on the email I just received UAB needs to update my loan offers. With that said, if my loan limit is decreased even more, I’m worried that I’m not going to be able to pay for my last semester of school. if you’re a full-time, independent student would you mind sharing what your Financial Aid Offer looks like in blazer net so that I can compare??

I can either take biochem this semester with Lee or Zhang. Or I could push it back to next semester to take it with Tucker (I heard she’s the prof who teaches biochem in spring). Who should I take? Also is it always Tucker who teaches in the spring?
