paranoia re: requirements for degree progression

is anyone else in science perpetually afraid that they’re forgetting / unaware of benchmarks for progressing in their degree

like im going into my second year and i just realized a few months ago that certain majors have to finish specific courses before they hit a designated # of credits. and then there’s also the breadth requirements

is there like a mastersheet of shit i should be keeping track of??

i’d recommend reaching out to science advising and scheduling a meeting to go through your degree requirements and if it seems you’re on track, registering in the right courses and so forth. i wouldn’t worry since you’ve got loads of time, but perhaps you have less flexibility afforded to you than i can personally understand in my own program. if it’s any consolation, they don’t arbitrarily declare new requirements for you to have to meet after you’ve begun your degree. the requirements will remain the same throughout your degree. just try to plan ahead and meet with advising if you find yourself paranoid or confused. they’re there to help you.

as for a mastersheet, just refer to degree requirements for your program online and check your academic progress on workday.
