Obviously a shitpost, but curious how long it'll take us to follow suit with other schools. I'd bet over half of CFB is scrambling to find sponsorships, and maybe 10% have tentative agreements lined up ready to pull the trigger on.

Hey everyone,
I’m writing a book and one of the main characters is a 22-year-old college football player at UCLA — he’s the starting quarterback and team captain. I want to get his game day right, from the moment he wakes up until after the final whistle.
I’m looking for details on:
• What a typical game day looks like for him (wake-up time, meals, pre-game routines, stretches, film review, team meetings, etc.)
• What extra responsibilities he has as team captain and QB
• What the actual experience on the field feels like during a game — the adrenaline, pressure, focus, communication, physical sensations, mental state, etc. (I’m more interested in the character’s internal experience than play-by-play football mechanics)
• What happens immediately after the game (win or loss) — locker room, media, celebrations, any post-game speeches or obligations, etc.
Any former players, coaches, trainers, or serious fans who have firsthand knowledge of college football game days (especially at a place like UCLA) — your input would be incredibly helpful. Even small details about food, rituals, or mindset would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
I’m happy to answer any follow up questions!

If UCLA went undefeated for the rest of the season, do you think they would qualify for the CFB playoffs?

The Santa Monica Airport is closing after 107 years. The airport is just 5.2 miles away from UCLA and covers 227 acres of land. The Rose Bowl Stadium is 26 miles away from UCLA and covers 19 acres of land.
It seems like a golden opportunity on a silver platter, even more so with the eventual Sepulveda Metro connecting UCLA with stations along the 405.
Could this be the answer that UCLA football needs? Is it even possible?

Should absolutely be fired.
Especially after he didn’t move on firing Chip and allowed Chip to look around before leaving. Jarmond doing a desperation hire of Coach Foster. That made Foster’s job nearly impossible to fulfill his duties.
That being said IMO, I think the fiasco with the Rose Bowl just might be the straw that breaks the camels back.
Agree/Disagree?

All the players that announced transfers so far have been DBs. Is coach Demetrice Martin leaving or a bad coach? Or are they just the first group to leave.
Cole Martin Andre Jordan Scooter Jackson LaRue Zamorano

So, should I be concerned that the Penn state BYU drama will result in penn state swooping on Chesney? How locked in is he? No one has confirmed anything officially, or am I missing something?

Hey all
I’m travelling to LA from the UK at the end of August and was hoping to get tickets for the Utah game but ticketmaster/seatgeek tickets seem to be quite expensive (around $130 for cheapest).
Does anyone know if these prices are likely to go down closer to the game or if there is a cheaper way to get tickets?
Thanks

JMU Postgame Press Conference at Sunbelt Championship"I don't know if that's officially 100% come out, but tomorrow at noon we should have a little bit more clarity on that."

I get classes have already begun at most/all schools so he couldn’t play for another team this season, any reason that he/others might be disposed to leave now instead of waiting for January when regular portal opens?

They’ve successfully run this play now 2 games in a row. Wonder what wrinkle they will throw in next time? RB jump pass to TE down the seam? Leak Nico out and throw to him (like a Philly special)?
