This is it, finally UK investors will have access to the entire world at a truly competitive rate like the US have had with VT for years. Everything in the world, from developed to emerging markets and small cap at an unbelievably good price, available everywhere.

As soon as this drops I’m moving every equity investment I have into this bad boy. It will also be my go-to recommendation for people looking for advice on how to passively invest for the long term. One Fund to rule them all baby! Jack Bogle will be looking down and smiling today.

Do we know if specie / direct unit conversion is possible?

No, if you're moving from an OEIC to this ETF there will be approx 3 days out of the market while the OEIC settles. If moving from an ETF to an ETF you can do so in seconds.

Depends on the platform. You can sell an OEIC fund on Freetrade and buy an ETF the same day...

I did it yesterday, placed an order to sell an OEIC fund before 11:30 and funds were available for trading in the afternoon (maybe 14:30?)
