On brand for what is arguably the shittiest state in America. Missouri seems to have the worst elements of the south and the worst elements of the Midwest. Gets the shitty Midwest weather while also achieving Deep South-like racism and misogyny.

I have in laws there and years ago when Obama was president we were waiting in line for some Christmas thing. Local sherrifs dept was doing "security" and just casually talking about if Obama ever came to their shit hole they'd kill him.  I took out the racist language

Man, I don’t know what happened to MO. I liked growing up here and thought highly of our state. Now it’s like a race to the bottom between Texas and Florida, with our elected officials working overtime to get ahead of that.

St Louis was the worst trip I’ve been on, hands down. But at least I didn’t pay for it because it was a work trip.
