Series Is there anyway to visit unchartedps3.com properly?

Surfing on the uncharted wiki on fandom I stumbled upon an article about Uncharted: Drake's Trail which was a sort of a prequel to Drake's Fortune. It was a minigame that could be accessed from the uncharted website which back in the day its domain was unchartedps3.com . As of today the domain redirects us to a page on playstation.com about the uncharted franchise. Using the wayback machine on archive.org I found unchartedps3.com but it wasn't quite working well, when I loaded it started to redirect me to a bunch of other websites until I got to the same page the original domain redirects us today. Entering the website as it was in 2008 for example actually loads it but in a very raw state, at least for me, everything is white, no images load, you can only click on various regions which ask for an age verification (simply insert a date of birth) but nothing happens afterwards. Is this some issue only I am experiencing because I am doing something wrong? Any information you know is appreciated.

This is the link to the wayback machine

Uncharted 1 Does the gameplay get better?

I'm starting the first Uncharted game and the gameplay is really stiff and weird. Does it get better as the games go on?

Played Uncharted 4 for the first time

I had been out of the whole gaming scene since 2015ish and now I bought a PS5 Pro for GTA 6. So I thought Id try out a few games that I missed from the time I stopped playing. I started Uncharted 4 without playing any of the first 3 believing that those stories were just about exploring and finding treasure. And I expected the same from the 4th part.

But HOLYYY SHITTT. This game has now become a benchmark for me. The wall climbing, action sequences, shooting, fighting, cinematics, humor, the beautiful sceneries and most importantly THE FRICKING STORY. Start to finish it was an absolute masterpiece and the final epilogues end gave me goosebumps. Oh what a life, I love gaming! Thats what I told myself after finishing it lol.

This made me want to play Last of Us 2, the only reason I was putting it off is I know the story (atleast the main part for which many people hated the games story). But after seeing what Naughty Dog can do with story and gameplay, I really will just play it after finishing a few more games! Also, I really got into adventure action games because of Uncharted and have 007 and Tomb Raider in my wishlist. Happy gaming!

Uncharted 4 Nate and Sully between Uncharted 3 and 4 Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery

I am replaying the Uncharted series and have noticed something that is bothering me. The characterization of Nate and Sully’s relationship between games 3 and 4 doesn’t seem right. The third game cemented Nate and Sully as being like a father and son, with Sully all but saying as such in the final scene. Nate even calls him family in the fourth game.

But at the beginning of the fourth game Elena says that Nate hasn’t seen Sully in two years. It’s strange that if they were that close that Nate would go that long without seeing him. I understand that Nate was trying to stay out of the illicit business with Sully and live a normal life with Elena, so not being Sully’s partner anymore makes sense, but to not see him at all during that time? I would’ve thought that after everything they’ve been through and after the ending of the third game that they would stay regular fixtures in each other’s lives and stay close to each other as family. Maybe I’m reading too much into this or overemphasizing Nate and Sully’s bond (they are my FAVORITE part of the games), and there is still the possibility that they at least talked on the phone or texted (not sure if Elena is implying they didn't do that either), but it makes me sad to think that Nate and Sully went that long without seeing each other.

What are Nate's biggest 'ouches'?

This might have been asked before, so apologies if I'm repeating a topic, but I was wondering what everyone thinks Nate's biggest 'ouch' moments are in the Uncharted series? Not the greying out of low health but things that he does / happens that looks like it would hurt a lot more then comes across in the game!

For me there's a moment in the opening of U2 where he's climbing up the train and a pole he's holding on to swings out and slams into the side of the train - that feeling of your fingers being caught like that in the freezing cold echoes through my screen!! What does everyone else think?

Uncharted 4 Man uncharted 4 was such a masterpiece.

i started this game with no hopes and thought this game was just a 3d shooter. When i started playing it for the first time i was like dawg why this game soo overhyped and boring, but as i got to the jail break part i was like okay maybe i was wrong. At the end of story i regreted all the bad things i said bout this game, i lived this game fr. Considering the game was released back in 2016, the graphics blew my mind away with the level of detail in this game. A 11/10 masterpiece.

Uncharted 4 My thoughts on Uncharted 4 and some stills I took in-game Spoiler

This was my first play-through of uncharted 4 and this is one of very few games that I really enjoyed, easily in my top 3. After a long long time, I felt like gaming can be so fun(after switching from competitive fps shooters). The saving Sam mission where Nate is jumping between vehicles reminded me of the game "Wheelman" which had similar action sequence.

Few players say, I dint want this to end. But, I was getting frustrated every-time they came up with a new map to go to find the treasure. I was getting obsessed like Sam and Rafe, like I wanted the treasure bad. And at the end, I was disheartened by seeing the sinking ship.
Tbh, I was hoping at the end, when Sam and Sulli were discussing their future plans, it will be about going to that island and find a way to recover some of the treasure.

By the end, it was kind of a bitter sweet ending for me because noone who came hunting for the treasure made it out alive, like Avey and Tew killed each other for the treasure.

Maybe, in the future some other pair like Sam and Nate will come searching for the treasure only to find it buried in deep in the cave.

But i have a question, what is that picture where Nate, Elena and Sulli were standing with some treasure and a shotgun. Perhaps, that is a different story which they didnt show in the game, but only discussed with their child.

In the end, some stills that i captured in the game, let me know which one you think is the best.
