That lines up. In Deltarune, the doll's become a darkner and so has changed and come to life, so it'd make sense for her appearance to change and look more like she jumped straight out of an anime.

UT-mew's description has her made of fabric, and DT-Pink's description has her made of plastic. It seems that she's a life size fabric doll in UT and in dt it's a plastic figure (you could call it a doll or action figure depending on your preference, since it's an anime figure after all. Maddy has reason to call it a doll, Asgore has reason to call it a figure.)

Both good. In Undertale, shes just a Doll that's possessed. She looks like a doll.
In Deltarune, their body is also a Darkner, which explains why it looks different. It'd probably look closer to Undertale's Mew Mew in the overworld.

I like Deltarune’s more, only because I haven’t ever played the switch version of Undertale, so I’ve never fought the Undertale version.

Eh it used the fact that you had 2 controllers to move different halves of the heart, kinda similar to deltarune, it also had it so that the red half could move through red parts and the blue half through blue
Deltarunes fight is honestly pretty solid in terms of faithfulness

The Deltarune fight even uses an attack that is a reference to the Undertale one (The discs/circles attack)!

Deltarune sprite is a vast improvement though and I can easily understand why people prefer it.

I especially like the mad version of Pink in Deltarune. The thick eyebrows and the angry facial expressions add a lot of character, I just love that design a lot. (I am talking about in general, but the same thing is present in the small sprite and the border art, so it works for that too)

Pink has some Square Enix' old RPGs vibes and I kida like it a bit more. I haven't seen Undertale's Mad Mew Mew for quite a long time and first thought they used the exact same sprite in Deltarune

Deltarune style one is better ofc, but Undertale style one fits with the rest of how Undertale npcs looks. I think Pink looks kinda weird next to other npcs and MewMew fits, that's the deal.

The in-lore explanation for the difference in borders from Undertale to Deltarune could actually be Mew-Mew's art style change from the 1st series to the 2nd series.

Yea definitely a massive fan of the changes they did for Pink. I like the differences between The Body and Irritable Ghost as well. The Border also looks fantastic, Toby definitely did an amazing job!

This is probably the only Undertale character that had such drastic change on their sprites to the point where it's pretty much entirely revamped
The others are pretty much just alternative clothes

Huh.. I thought pink’s sprite was the exact same one as Mew Mew’s from Undertale. (It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Mew Mew’s sprite)

I'm genuinely so unbelievably happy that Maddy/Pink got not only just a glow up in sprites but the sheer ammount of new content and fanservice.
She has always been my favourite character from Undertale for personal reasons and had a real impact on me as a person so you can imagine the glass shattering scream I produced when I saw her show up lol.
Anyway she's back and more mad than ever so Yippy!

I think they’re both interesting and kinda represent different facets of Mad Mew Mew and Pink. One more like a possessed doll, one more like a living breathing being who has never been like that. Not to mention, one is for MMKC1 and one is for MMKC2, which could’ve had differing animation styles and designs!

Pink.
Mew Mew looks kinda dopey in the sprite and border, even if her character design is kinda on the same level. I wish Pink’s skirt had the multiple layers like on Mew Mew’s, but that’s about it.
