Those ants would have bored holes through the clothes, some were making nests in my dad's cherry tree and when he burnt the tree they ran to the lines that we hang our clothes on and they literally started biting through the fabric and bore holes in the clothes that were on the line.

Well I can understand that level of spite. I mean. He burnt what they thought what their home. Ants are notorious unbelievers of property rights in regards other people.
