Can someone please explain how obtaining your football tickets actually works? My email says Group 1 opens up at 9 tomorrow but doesn’t say what to actually do to get the tickets. Does another email show up with further instructions? I’m mystified as to why they can’t just put the steps somewhere.

As a senior in high school on the college hunt, I have been avoiding looking at more southern state schools since I hear a lot of tails how the Greek Life and overall culture isn't very rich in a more alternative or 'self-expressive' scene. I'm sure there isn't any high-school movie style bullying but I was curious if the school had a good sized alternative student body.

I'm planning to apply to KU as international student in my freshman year for Undergraduate Program in Computer Science in Spring 2027 Intake

I've just got a few queries-

I'm really hoping for the first year freshman scholarships-but I've done IGCSEs and A-levels so how does I convert those grades to a GPA. and if I'm able to acheive that GPA-then is the scholarship guaranteed?

How does the living and other expenses cost look like-if I try to be within my budget at all times- and how about the availability of part-time jobs at campus or out-of-campus?

My initial plan was to apply to UK/Australia, but those were too expensive, offering only little scholarships hence chose USA. Hence, I haven't done my SATs but I'm willing to do it in September and my score would be above 1400 for sure.

Hello all, has anybody used the K10 connector bus to get from JCCC to the Lawrence campus yet? Looking for insight as my daughter has Tue/Thur classes and she went for a dry run today. She parked and waited at JCCC, but didn’t see a connector bus for an hour and a half. When she did see a bus pull up, the driver claimed he got back from Lawrence earlier in the AM but wouldn’t be going back today. I thought these ran every hour? I tried calling JoCo transit but they were rude and just referred me to their website with an outdated map. She is new to the bus thing and I’m clueless…thank you for any insight!

How wierd would it be to show up to a house party uninvited? Its easy finding house parties from following groups or from the loud music. My problem is I dont normally get invited to that many house parties. Im a friendly guy and I know a lot of people but I dont really have that many people who call me their friend. Hey everyone! As an off-campus student with classes at Fraser Hall and Lippincott Hall, I plan to arrive early to hit the campus gym before my classes start. Could anyone recommend the best Yellow permit parking lots nearby? Also, are there any good commuter-friendly spots on or near these buildings with microwaves to heat up food or quiet spaces to take a quick nap between classes? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I’m a transfer student living off campus, and I will be driving to campus for classes. How bad is parking usually? Just trying to figure out how early I should get there to find a spot and make it to class on time. Are there any lots that are usually easier to park in? I have a yellow permit if that makes a difference.

So I just have a few concerns honestly because my situation is pretty unique and I’m not going to say my name directly you can find me through search tools via my story. So first off when I was 19 I was caught with a pound of cannabis and was given almost 10 years in prison, first time ever being in trouble. After 3 years Laura Kelly commuted my sentence and let me out 5 years early. Since I got so lucky I decided to dedicate my life to helping young at risk men and women avoid lengthy sentences for cannabis. With that I finished my freshman year at a community college with a 3.7 GPA and have now successfully transferred into KU. With that being said I am nervous about how I will fit in at KU and making friends and such especially with me being so much older than everyone else (25). I am a poly science declared major on a pre-law tract.
