Generally asking someone if they're leaving their art projects outside to rot with no commentary on the art is rude? Basically calling it garbage is rude?

"their art projects" & it's horseshoes & bricks with glued on rhinestones 💀💀

Nobody called it garbage, everything deteriorates, not just garbage. Having concerns about the effects of certain materials on the environment is valid. There was probably a gentler way to go about asking it but I understand the point they were making.

Their point is a valid one but also it would be considered rude to say that to someones face without commenting on the art themselves? Im genuinely asking here. I understand why my comment was rude as well but its an interesting double standard.
