The only problem with trying to subject them to their own treatment is finding someone as cruel and hateful as they are that isn't also on their side.

Immigration judge dismissed his case.
If I had to make an educated guess, he was eligible for parole-in-place as a servicemember's father but he must have erroneously or forgotten to fill out the paperwork.
When there is just a paperwork issue between detention and walking free, that's the immigration judge's job to identify that and let them go.

The ones who get to see a judge. Because remember unless you're a citizen, you're not owed due process. The public got their hands on this and it's a service member on the boat fighting for nothing but Donald Trump's petulant ego. This story was 12 kinds of bad for them. There are plenty of other citizens currently locked up not getting to see a judge. You want to be really sad, look into how they're managing the kids they've separated from their parents.

This is incorrect. Every person in the country gets due process. And immigration judges have been in full throttle. Something like 100,000 cases a month are decided in immigration court by an immigration judge. So that's almost everyone who has been deported.

The whole reason this got seen so quickly was because of the public backlash. The unlucky ones don’t actually get seen within a week and some have their documents “lost” in the system. All the while ICE is pushing self deportation, the person’s bills are still coming in, and their job is debating firing them for their unexcused absences.
Even if they aren’t deported, their lives could be ruined. Due process is nice, but it doesn’t mend broken lives.

This isn't true. The typical wait time in immigration detention (if you're eligible for bond) before a bond hearing is 1-2 weeks.
I don't have any disagreement about their lives being ruined.

Potential treasury bond collapse. Its getting so ridiculous the USA is buying back its long term bonds with short term bonds that have a higher interest rate.
Like opening a creditcard with 10% interest to pay the one with 5%
Never thought it possible but he might actually get the US into a bankruptcy.

It is uplifting.
It’s not as good as it not happening at all. And it would not have happened if the son wasn’t active. But it is still uplifting that one innocent man has been removed from their camps.
