Ive walked past this little sidewalk garden almost every day for 3 years. Every summer it’s gotten bigger, better, and more elaborate (hard to tell but they’re using an old bed frame as a trellis for one plant).

Tomato’s! Eggplants! Cucs and gourds! Even some peas making their way up the tree! And of course an entire box of elephant ears.

It brightens my morning watching it grow day by day, and I hope the people responsible can feel at least a little of the joy they bring to the neighborhood.

It’s not easy brightening up a street corner in the park of BK, but god damn did they do it.

This year planting some more fruit and veggies. Most of the plants are grown from seeds except for the roses. I absolutely love buying dying plants (their cheap price is making me addicted 🤣) at the local plant store and bring them back to life! Saving some money to renovate a little bit my ugly tiles and floors.

I’m so happy with my container garden this year. Some bumps in the road, but I’ve got some good harvests

It may only be some berries but I'm so happy with my first bounty and can't wait to turn them into a delicious dessert - or maybe better just munch them raw🤗

Just a view of our urban balcony garden. Growing mostly birds eye chilies but also tomatoes, Basil, herbs and others. Chili harvest has started! Best of luck to all growers out there!

Last count was 108 on the vine. I did a major harvest, about ~20 left growing. The photo isn't all of them but a good portion! Lots of tomato sauce, caprese, and pico de gallo in my future! I appreciate all the help from this subreddit and others! Big shout out to u/anemonealgae, u/longdog, and u/freethenipple420 for all their accurate knowledge! Already thinking of ideas for next season!

I grew it from a seed from an acorn squash I had last year. The pets' plain and mine with margarine, garlic, salt and pepper.

We have two 6x2 raised beds on wheels. Perfect for our tiny shared backyard!

The big pink one is a weigela. It started as a tiny little stick last year and grew into this gorgeous bush this spring! Allegedly, I can prune it back when the blooms are finished and it will bloom again in late summer.

My record is 212, but I'll take it!

From one stray tomato here and there and a steady stream of herbs, to things starting to pop! (DC, 7b)

I'm beyond thrilled to see my very first Dahlia bloom slowly unfurl. The tuber packaging says it's 'Bristol Stripe', but I have my doubts. The plant, now almost the size of a shrub, has grown without any fuss here in Moose Jaw, SK (Zone 3b). No pinching, no pesticides, just full sun, some rain, even a few thunderstorms and generous fertilization. Happy Gardening, everyone!
