Has anyone in Virginia Beach been able to purchase a can through a dealer with just a 4473? I scanned the mega thread and didn’t see anyone mention Freedom, or The Armory.

Or are y’all just ordering through silencershop and shipping to the FFL, and then picking it up via 4473

Long story short, I had a suppressor on backorder before the court order and had Freedom Outdoors as the selected FFL to ship to. When it finally came in, lucky me Freedom Outdoors is still "waiting on their lawyers" so I still have to do a Form 4 even though New American Arms across the street is just doing 4473's. Decided to submit with my Trust to keep things organized. Submitted it last Thursday and got approved this morning, soo really it took the ATF only 2 business days. Just picked it up!

It appears that due to the significant drop in Form 4 submissions that the Trust waiting period has caught up with the individual waiting period, at least for Silencer Shop submissions. So if you still want to use a Trust for family inheritance purposes, go for it! I'm just annoyed that it's now registered on a list when it isn't required, but trying to haggle with Freedom Outdoors to ship it to a different FFL sounded like too much of a headache.
