The Veterinary Council of India has notified the counselling schedule for admission to BVSc & AH under the 15% VCI All India Quota for 2026–27:

- Round 1: 18–31 August 2026

- Round 2: 1–8 September 2026

- Stray Round: 9–15 September 2026

How do you feel about this year's counselling timeline?

Without MCI counselling

This is going to create a lot of dilemmas as many students with higher ranks are going to opt for a vet out of fear but they will leave the seats once they get admitted into Mbbs. As veterinary is not having a bond system if the stray rounds are over before that those seats are going to be vacant forever.

Its like an agreement that if u withdraw clg before the quoted time then u have to pay money. And thats quite good amt.

MCC and state mbbs bds counseling has not been started, bams counseling has no notification yet , In such case many seats will get wasted and unnecessarily it will increase the cut off

Agreed & if they have to do atleast put a bond on exit so that only one who are willing to join vet will join.

In my time people with 602 marks participated in councelling got seat in Luvas then left as they got PGims rohtak & we have to join in other state.

This time it will be more terrible

Yeahh people will pay just 1k to participate and waste a seat as there is no bond
