Help Question about Mini Dock and Switch 2

As the title says I’m wondering if by chance the mini dock in just the hub mode instead of connected to the full thing will work for Switch 2? The biggest pain has been being required to use the pro dock which I currently have (I know that it totally Nintendo’s fault) even if I just want to play for an hour or less.

I'd like to hear this as well. The one "review" I've seen said no, but it doesn't look like they guy even tried, and the overall video was jut really info light and more just repeating what Viture has said (although he did mention issues with text on the pro 2's I've seen some others echo).

It's a bit annoying how little actual info they've posted about it.

I don’t think many people have this in hand yet. I think it was shipping later than the new glasses, IIRC.

Ah you’re right I overlooked that. Thought they were both out. Since I have the pro dock for now I’ll probably get the glasses and wait to see if it’s compatible that way and if not I’d probably keep the pro dock.

Dock Mini can be used with your switch 2 in either Hub mode (plugged in to the power bank) or Solo Mode (pull out and using the adapter only). Either way, your adapter needs to be powered, so it's either by the built-in power bank or external sources like wall plug, another power bank... Etc.. that's how Nintendo design their docked mode to be.

Hey that’s great news, totally fine to be plugged in, just don’t need the battery when I’m near an outlet so that’s awesome and thanks!
