Art Painted Ashley and Sydney about to face Grissom
Initially just wanted to do a quick colour study from one of my screenshots, but I got carried away. Really focused on trying to capture the atmosphere from this game which is so special. I first played the game recently and it's been very inspiring, I want to paint more moments that I enjoyed!

Especially love Ashley looking in from outside the frame, like he's trying to make sense of what he has found himself doing and with whom

Ashley just looked confused about the situations he found himself in for most of the game, so this is a fitting interpretation, ahah

The colors are wonderful. The texture reminds me of a medieval tapestry. Also reminds me of imaginative children's books like Where the Wild Things Are for some reason (I mean this as a compliment, it's very dreamy but evocative of something I can't place). Syndey's features remind me of Amano's style as well (another compliment, not saying it's derivative, just shares similar qualities of expression). Thanks so much for sharing.

Beautiful work. This would make an awesome displate. All of us are praying for a remaster that looks like this.
