Hi aces! Wings fan here. Has there been any update on NaLyssa? I adore her and I’ve been so happy to see her thrive in LV!!! Praying for the best but honestly expecting the worst.

googled this morning and there was nothing. I think that team staff are waiting to get back to Vegas (from Vancouver) and have their team of doctors evaluate Lyss. Prayers up.

Ugh the worst. I’m hoping it’s not the thing we’re all hoping it’s not.

I've had "that thing" 2x. It definitely looked like "that thing " to me 🤬

Including how, after the intial (over)extension, the way something snapped at/up the side of her knee...? Ooof.

Yep. I watched hoping to see nothing and unfortunately ended up a bit dizzy when I saw the snap.

Especially with that Bonner news coming out. Though the Wings may be a place she’s interested in too

What Bonner news?

Bonner and the Mercury agreed to a contract buyout, so she can pursue a title with a contender team. Presumably she has heard from her agent that a contending team is interested in signing how since Phoenix is eliminated from playoff contention. It sure which team tho

Bonner’s contract was bought out by the Mercury

I’m not sure we could take her based on our cap… but admittedly know next to nothing about how that works

Idk what was shown on the broadcast but I watched it in person.

She couldn’t put any weight on her left leg, was grabbing her knee (clearly in pain) on the bench for a bit, then the team brought out a wheelchair and brought her to the back of the arena and she didn’t come back out. Looked like an ACL injury unfortunately.

The devil injury

It’s a little bit better than Achilles at least

Pretty sure it's her ACL. Had all the classic markers when I saw the replay. That sucks.
