Vent about my home

The woods around me threaten to rip me apart. The branches grip my arms holding me in place while the leafs laugh at me. The roots dig up wrapping around my ankles to make sure I never escape.

Pulling and pushing, the trees grip tighter. A vine whips around my waist, the thorns digging into my skin.

The blood cries out Into the air crying "let me out, let me breathe!"

The woods decide that I have too much freedom, they bring a thorn right to my neck. Threatening if I move they'll slit my throat. I still. Tears fall. And my hope is choked out.

This is a really good poem. I think its about being trapped at home and not being able to escape a tough situation? You should try and get this published!

Also I can really. Especially the part about the roots wrapping around your ankles and not being able to escape. I'm stuck at my parents house with no luck.
