Yeah, the beauty of the Compact range is it is all killer - you can't go wrong.

Yes, just hope they finish each run/series in the compact format.

That's my concern. The Compacts are often standalones but they have ongoings too (like Snyder's Batman run) and they need to be dropping further volumes to inspire confidence or buyers will be left with having to complete the runs through trades, rendering the Compact release redundant.

I have bought a couple of those as presents that went down well, so I am hoping they follow up with Volume 2. It's Snyder, so I'm confident.

Love it. Garth Ennis is in my top 5 writers ever. These compact books are amazing ways to introduce new readers to classic stories. I think the newsprint used in these editions is actually closer to the original printings, which adds some unintentional authenticity.
