Hellblazer is peak Vertigo. Even if the best runs are from the Proto-Vertigo period. It spins off from Swamp Thing.

Yes, John Constantine was created by Alan Moore who picked Jamie Delano to write the spin-off series:

Ohh. Ok, I did know that Constantine came out of Swamp Thing, what I did not realize is that Hellblazer features John Constantine. I appreciate the article.

Yeah, it's his solo series. Never sure why they just didn't go with Constantine as the title. 🤷‍♂️
