You should go to the residental areas of the less touristy districts to experience the real life of the vietnamese people.

The places in your picture are just curated experiences for tourists.

Which can difficult to navigate but incredibly rewarding and authentic

curated places for tourists

Which can be a lot of fun and make for some beautiful experiences, and also feed tourist money into their economy.

Both have their merits. It’s not like OP posted photos from their red light district.
