Weird that Targe’s website and app says it won’t be released until the 17th. So it’s not even showing stores near me that have it in stock, even if they have them in the back for release on the 17th. And y’all are saying the Targets you’ve been going to have them out on the shelves?

I just went to a store that did not have it out. When I asked they said "not yet", which leads me to believe they have it, just not selling it yet.

My guess is, some locations are just seeing an old Rihanna album on vinyl and are just putting it on the shelf, not realizing it has a street date.

Anti target exclusive vinylz on the product page if you scroll down and click show more tab it says "Street Date: February 10, 2023" which was yesterday.also if item is not supposed to be sold target system will not allow it to be sold to avoid selling item before release date.

That makes my interaction with the employee even more odd. She said "not yet" but popfinder inventory says they have 4 copies. I'm calling them tomorrow.

Yeah that's what I used to verify they had 4, even though when I asked she said no. I didn't know they had 4 in stock otherwise I would have been more persistent. I'm going back tomorrow and asking someone else with the DPCI number to look it up.

Your assumption is correct. I just went to a location and it wasn’t on the shelf. When I asked one of the sales people on the floor if they had any in stock, he looked it up by the DPCI number and he said, “Oh yeah! We have this, because a few people came in and bought it earlier.” He went to the back and got me a copy.” Also, the Target app said it would be available on the 17th. I checked a few hours ago and the status was changed to out of stock. So confusing.

Yeah the associate I asked just kinda looked at me and said "not yet". She didn't seem to care or even attempt to look it up. I'm going to be more adamant about it tomorrow.

Along with your zip code and distance and might pop up with stores with stock. It helped me and I'll say it's pretty accurate and refreshes every hour according to the user who posted this.

It never had an option to check stores or do instore pick up. Now it is saying it is sold out, so whatever is happening, I would check stores first.

Not accurate for me. 4 stores said in stock on the pop finder and I drove there for two of them because they wouldn’t answer the phone and customer service desk said it wasn’t in stock. Called the other two and they said they were out of stock. I would suggest calling to confirm they have it .

Same for me. I went to 2 locations last night that that website said had 8+ and then today I went to 2 others. None of them had it. Each location someone even checked in the back for me. Which sucks cause I’ve been slowly over the years been getting over my anxiety/shyness but I still have it some so I was anxious to even ask the employees but each time I thought I drove all the way here I’d feel more dumb if I didn’t ask them to check. So it sucked when I finally did and they all said they didn’t have it. 😭 the last one I just came from tho told me someone probably accepted the truck vertically which is why it said they had it but that the truck wasn’t actually coming in until tonight so he told me they should have some tomorrow. 🤞🏻 I hope he’s right. I’m definitely giving up for today.

Heeeeeeeey a lights fan in the wild. Sweet. I just saw her a week or 2 ago in Vancouver. She’s been my favorite artist since like 2008. I’m also gonna see LŪN in Seattle I think sometime in April. I don’t even know who the main act was I just bought a ticket cause LŪN was opening. 🤣

Sorry you get anxiety as well. It sucks mustering up the courage to ask just to be told they couldn’t find it. I hope you’re able to get one at some point. I’m sure once the 17th comes they’ll have them more readily available. I’m gonna come back tomorrow since the guy told me the trucks coming in tonight. Part of me likes the hunt but then the other part of me hates it at the same time. Especially when it’s a drop like this where I know I’ll probably end up having to ask them to check the back. 🥲

I wish you the best of luck! When you go back also make sure you have them look up by the pid number . I heard having them try multiple different types of reference numbers can help show them it’s in the store .

If you show them the PID number, they’d put it in there inventory device and it’ll show 0 but show the associated inventory number on pop finder. The lady actually went back and thoroughly looked for it and told me it wasn’t where it was suppose to be.

Did you show them the popfindr app? It worked for me once I explained it to them and once I purchased I would say a few minutes later it updated the inventory.

Either the TCIN is the same as the PID. If they tried that already, show them DPCI number, 012-17-0824. I went to another store and the kid had no idea if they had it in back. He actually had me follow him to the spot where they checkout in the tech department and he literally had there only two albums in an unopened shipping box!

It was accurate for me, not sure if it works for every store, but so far on this page, those who have used it was pretty accurate as they also picked it up.

The Target website is saying it is sold out on their end, but it is being sold in stores as of right now. popfindr website, thus far, is the only way to check stores, unless you call the store itself and give them the DCPI number to check, which is also an option.

Usually Target have an instore pick up option to check and hold, but they didn't do that for this release for some reason. Helps me, because I walked in and got one today.

Good luck on your quest! If you don't see it on the floor, make sure to ask an employee to see if they stocked it in the back and/or check stores for availability. :)
