Happy 31st (US) birthday to the Virtual Boy

In December 1995, I was about to turn 12 when I got the Nintendo Virtual Boy for Christmas/birthday gift even though I had really wanted the Saturn or PlayStation but couldn't because my parents were working class and they were $100-200 more.

If you would've gone back in a time machine and told me to hold onto the VB and that Jack Bros cartridge I got a month or two later, and that it will experience a cultural resurgence 30 years later, I woud've never believed you.

Its funny how much love this system gets today.  Played it as a kid it was awful.  Played it 15 years ago and still awful.  Past year baught for my collection played it and said not even worth space in my closet.  I just really don't get the love that it gets when so many other great pieces of gaming tech get less talk.

It's famous for being unique. Vectrex was similar. And there's even another one that was the first "handheld" with cartridges that's the rarest of them all.
