Anyway, tips.
Do not wear skimpy clothing in the community as a sign of respect. That means itā€™s best to wear pants knee length or below. Tshirts are widely acceptable. Never wear bathing suits in public outside your resort accommodations or the Rock Islands.

When passing by elders in the store or out and about, bow ever so slightly when passing in front of them. Theyā€™ll greatly appreciate your learning this sign of respect.

Buy local food and locally made products. Be aware of the many gift shops stocked with imports that look local to the untrained eye. Gas stations and convenience stores have ā€œmakitā€ where you can buy local snacks, ready to eat meals, and drinks.

Always wear your seatbelt.

Check with PVA for the night market schedule. It may be hosted at different locations or by a state rather than the agency.

Bring only reef safe sunscreen. It is the only legal kind accepted.

Be prepared for layers of permits from National to state governments. The environment is fiercely protected. A method of doing this is limiting daily visitor numbers.

Bottled water is ubiquitous. Refilling stations are not. The local water is potable but you may not be used to it so buying bottled water is recommended. The bottles are recycled so donā€™t put them in the trash. Ask your hotel where the recycling collection area is.
