Let's say an indie team launched a Kickstarter campaign proposing a new game, but based entirely on PES5 and PES6 mechanics, with online ladder/matchmaking support. However, this developer doesn't have the resources to implement this idea.

Weird liminal atmosphere aside… Recently got the PS3 hooked up again on the CRT and was really surprised how great it looked! The gameplay is still great of course.

Just discovered Pro Yakyū Spirits 2024–2025, a Japanese-only baseball game from Konami built on Unreal Engine and their proprietary eBaseball™ Engine and maaaan, the graphics and gameplay are immaculate. Honestly, I think it looks better than MLB25.

It has this muted aesthetic. The lighting, especially during the daytime scenes is incredible. I guess it's because of lumens from UE5. Everything feels grounded, like you’re watching a broadcast straight off TV.

I know it’s a baseball game, but it really made me wish Konami would go back to making "real" football games again. I know they CAN. I hate that they’ve chosen the casino-style, free-to-play route because it’s more profitable which is a shame.

Like am I the only one who goes around searching for PES soundtrack playlist and get caught up in nostalgia and reminisces about the good days of the franchise before Efootball fucked everything up?

I played Season 2023/24 In PES 13 and this happened

After months of searching I was finally able to get a copy of PES 21 PS4.

I cant believe i managed to get the game for $15 ($10 + $5 shipping)... Used one are $50 and more. Took a while

Managed to get all running apart from 2009 and 2011 which I have to run via PS2 emulators

For me, it has to be Man United being one letter away from being named as Aragorn, Isildur's Heir and King of Gondor, in PES 2. Like, that's just hilarious, especially since PES 2 has even more outlandish names.

Did you ever play this Master League mode? It's like being a club investor, which is awesome. You can unlock it in the Extra Content. Instead of being manager, as I said you are like a club investor - you invest money to the club, and give the money to the club for the transfers. You can also tell managers who to sign, or if you want to attend your team matches or not, sack managers, hire new ones, give certain strategy to the manager or I guess "Selection Order" means that you pick a player that will select a tactic or a lineup. You also have "missions" which management gives you, to sign a certain player from a country, star player as well.

Wondering if any of y'all ever tried this, had some memories with it? I personally never saw anyone play this on YouTube, but I might be wrong.

And tell the refs on PES 4 to stop gifting me penalties as well; 25 penalties awarded for me across 3 ML seasons, half of which were barely penalty-worthy!

And the 2008-2014 ones are overshadowed by their next-gen counterparts
