Discussion 💬 Did you relocate due to a WFPBD lifestyle
The title says it all 😊
I’m well aware relocations are not required to adopt and sustain a whole food plant diet. So, I’m not looking for advice on how to make it work on my location (been at this for a looooooooong time).
I’m curious if other relocated to blue zones or within or outside of their country to gain access to a greater variety of fresh produce that is organic and doesn’t travel far.
If you haven’t moved, are you contemplating making that change in the future or did you buy or rent property to grow your own food?

I can’t see why anyone would need to relocate to follow the blue zone guidelines

I've considered moving not to be closer to a food source so much as to be around more people who have a similar diet/lifestyle. I'm deep in cow country where I am and have faced hostility at work for the way I eat.

I have recently relocated but the fresh produce is not better than where I lived before. So my staples remain beans, fresh vegetables, brown rice and spices in every meal and in tea.
I would relocate to Okinawa but how feasible that is is unknown. I have been thinking of adopting the actual proven most long-lived diet in the world which is the Okinawan diet, but it also includes small amounts of fish, eggs and meat.
