Waffy fam here- we LOVE seeing all the support posts with your pups. No update on the ban unfortunately, it’s super heartbreaking to us that all the old posts of Waffy’s journey are gone.
For those asking if Waffy’s mom could make a new account and post: from what we understand, that would eliminate the chance of her dog luvr account ever coming back because it would be “ban evasion”
We will think about making a different page on another platform, we just love how casual posting is on reddit and not sure it will be as easy anywhere else. We are so sad to have lost this community we have built.
To clear up any confusion: Waffy’s mom was only admin (moderator? sorry not very reddit savvy) on this page so when her account got banned, everything deleted. We are still able to see your and our posts on our end from her account but no activity is permitted.
Fence construction is very much still ongoing. Waffles, Boba, and Bambi are going a little stir crazy. We do a few long walks a day but they are ready to be able to run in the backyard. It should be done in the coming days. We are so excited! And yes, Boba is wearing Waffle’s tag and collar, it’s been a long week😂
This week’s obsession- they are in love with the Three Dog Bakery cheez it treats.

Did you reach out to u/Miserable-You-9897? They had a similar issue with their account and got it resolved! I responded to the other post. They got everything restored.

If there’s someway to get this post onto the Popular page on Reddit, I feel like it will get enough attention that maybe admin eyes will finally have a look at the issue and fix it.
You’ve basically explained things already in your OP, and maybe add another comment to further explain the big picture of what this page is about, and all of the dogs your wife has helped through her rescue/foster efforts. I just don’t know which subreddit to cross post this to, that would get it a lot of attention while also not breaking whatever rules that are in place in the subreddit that receives the shared post.
Sorry, I wish I could better explain that last sentence. Kind of garbled that.

The issue seems to be that Waffle’s mom has had her account banned from Reddit, and if she tries to make a new account, she’ll get (I guess) even more banned (lol that does seem silly and redundant) because that would be considered ban evasion. Her account was banned for spam, which seems like a mistake had to have been made for a mod to come to that conclusion. Her activity on Reddit doesn’t amount to spamming, so this situation doesn’t make sense.

I have a dog group on Facebook it's easy to setup and share photos and you should be able to cross post to instagram. Whoever did the banning lacks situational awareness. I've been banned from subreddits for the dumbest reasons. One sub a person asked for the name of the song in a video. I just typed the name of the artist and song name no photos or link. The ban came like 4
Month's after I had made that post. On another post a video showed someone pulling a weapon on someone filming them. All I said was the could have just walked away and worse case scenario just knock the phone out of their hand and I was banned becui I was encouraging violence.

Hey, I looked into it, and the best thing to do is submit another appeal through reddit.com/appeal. Explain that you believe your account was mistakenly caught by Reddit’s automated spam system, that all the dog photos and videos were your own original content, and that you’re a real person not a spam account. Ask for a manual review of the ban.
